So happy to have lived during the reign of Queen Elizabeth the Great - I'm a proud Elizabethan. Thank you your Majesty for all you did - a truly honourable soul.
Still hard to believe that the second Elizabethan era is over. A Queen who was dedicated to the very end and in these testing times was someone who we looked to for strength and stability. We truly won't have a leader like her again.
I am an American but Elizabeth was "my" queen too. I found this tribute -- this beautiful music and the lovely pictures depicting Elizabeth's life very, very touching. As it happens my beloved mother was just one year younger than the Queen and resembled her greatly -- not just in their physical appearance but in their honor and character, dignity and strength. Bot also too in their bravery to keep living, to keep going despite challenges and losses. And now both of them are gone and my live, our lives are diminished because of it. As I watched this video and other well deserved tributes to Elizabeth I find myself so angry, so, so angry with her grandson Henry and his hateful spouse. I respect that Henry was desperately unhappy but how could he have ever felt his hurt justified his disrespect to this wonderful woman?
Exactly. The only reason why these thirteen colonies in British America revolted, was, that they felt not treated as natural born Englishmen (extra taxed for the hugh cost of the French and Indian War)-that is the reason to your foundingfather's revolution. Not due to some vage notion of liberty for the univerial success of the English-styled parlamentory system was way ahead of all other European nation at the time.
Nine months after her passing, this video still brings joy to my heart and tears to my eyes. She suffered much in her final years but kept true to her vows and the people she loved. She lived such an extraordinary and privileged life and did more for the institution, commonwealth and country than we may ever realize. We desperately need more leaders and examples like her today!
This should have 80 million comments... for love of family, dignity, faith and freedom... so often we lose what we love... but heart scars can be the best if we remember... and share... my kids will be in no doubt.. trust me... For Freedom and Duty.. your majesty. .
I had to watch this because I loved our Queen, and also my close friend died early this year. We had always planned to visit London when the Queen died but sadly we could not. Also this beautiful song takes me right back to school in the 1950s when we sang this each week along with Jerusalem. When I started watching this, what I did not know was that I would be crying at the end of it. What a wonderful Queen we had. She was there all my life. May she and the Duke rest in peace together.
Together forever 😊But i wish they would give more respect regardless of wealth money and class.People think u don't notice there anger and unfair statements cause of who u are .That bothered more than anything its like get to no the heart the caring side the fair side the funny side the down to earth side. That goes to anybody that has suffered evil angry behaviour cause of class and ur genes believe it people think u can't hear them gossiping about u not having a clue do they forget she was in the army a leader on the front line the red cross helped the red cross and all charitable organisations.Including hospitals many for the army for country and was a doctor and nurse always working remember that before u slate about wealth do u no what it takes to be crowned a lot to gain everybodys trust I no the British public love her but when the Irish troubles happened they planned her majesty and it was very hurtful i heard not deserved God bless you ur highness shine bright like a diamond ❤❤❤❤❤❤
We'll never have another queen like elizabeth ii she was truly one of a kind a stoic figure of strength and stability a mother wife grandmother great grandmother thank you your majesty you have served well
I am not a Commonwealth citizen, but I adore Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. I think that the couple had a cramped life as a royal family, but they fulfilled their role as one of the ideals of humankind until the end. Now they must be on good terms and smiling at each other in wonderful Heaven.
This magnificent lady more than kept her promise of devoted loyalty and service of duty for the benefit of the Commonwealth, a very rare quality in this ever changing uncertain world we all share. Thank You Queen Elizabeth II and God Bless.
God saved our gracious queen long lived our noble queen god saved our queen, he sent her victorious happy and glorious, she had long reign over us, yes god saved our queen. It’s not goodbye sweet queen elizebeth, it’s See you soon in glory ♥️✝️💕

Thank you for this, it is beautiful. She is one of a generation the likes of which we'll never see again. Whatever one thinks of the monarchy I hope they can respect the great dedication to duty and country that she had, literally to basically her dying day. As an American I feel very privileged to have seen her in person when she was in Williamsburg VA in 2007. I had just started working there shortly before her trip to the US so I had to go.
You guys within the United Kingdom as well througout the Commonwelth, ought to feel most blessed with having had such a legendary monarch. Greetings from the Kingdom of Sweden! P.S. Queen Elizabeth II was 3rd cousing of my own Carl XVI Gustav D.S.
My family has some British backgrounds. My Great Grandmother, who is no longer with us, moved to Canada to begin her own family in Canada. So my family was devastated when she died. My Papa who is my Grandfather said that we lost 2 queens in 2022. My Great Grandmother and Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. My Great Grandmother died on June 14th, 2022 at 1:00 pm. She was dealing with cancer since August 2021. So all I can say is, Rest In Peace Your Majesty. Your long reign will never be forgotten
It's such a powerful feeling knowing that I never had the honor to meet Her Majesty in person, to see her smile, to look into her eyes, to listen to her soothing and comforting voice, and love her so much with great appreciation and thankfulness for everything she was and is to the World. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II reigns forever in UK. 😢
I pray that the royal family be able to make it through Thanksgiving and Christmas this year because I know it's going to be hard on them knowing she is no longer with us.
Well done, you good and faithful servant. Come, with your husband, take your eternal rest. I am one of the many who will never stop respecting and loving you.
One may say that she was a women of joy and happiness, I would say she was a angel to the crown and her people, she has done the one thing that her father and mother would have been proud of, making Britain a nation of what we know today. We will miss her in those days we see her smiling, we will miss all those great memories she has made with our leaders. We will meet again when we grow older and we will bless the queen we knew in our childhood
She have been a good leader for the commonwealth.and her majesty as done her duties well she promise that she would do her duties and she did it to her best abilities my her soul rest beside of her mother, father and sister in peace
Thank you very much for this beautiful and touching video clip which is extremely well done. This is the best orchestral version of this beautiful piece of music in my opinion. Does anyone know which orchestra/conductor performed this excellent arrangement or the name of the CD recording? There are many different versions, but this is really the most outstanding one.
When the end of your reign sees not just your realm but the whole of the world mourning its end, then truly you reigned well. May flights of angels sing thee to thy eternal rest. God bless HRM Elizabeth II. God Save The King!
Of all the photos of the Queen, she looked the happiest with her children. Perhaps this was her secret, seeing the British people as more of her children not subjects.
I cannot get over the loss of QE II. The late Queen was duty and devotion itself--themselves. When complimented on this quality of her long reign, she would humbly state "It's the training, really..." Some of it had to be the training, but the lion's share was the woman herself. Her late majesty is the ideal role model for anyone seeking meaning in his or her life. Do the job, then slip away. Do not wait for the applause.
Thank you, Ma'am, you did your duty and now you can sleep. Goodbye, we will never forget you.

Only two words: Well done! I am happy that I was on the planet during the same time as she was.
I was thinking,,,,nice juggs
Me too and I'm American. She was a joy to watch, and a darn good example for women. Grace and honor with great dignity.

I am still finding it hard to believe 6 months down the road. That is why I look at these splendidly made videos.
The era is over
And what an era it was.
Nothing to look forward to now😢
Thank you for your service your majesty we still miss you Elizabeth the GREAT

Disrespect umm must of been hiding cause never did it to the face.forget themselves anyway there's always someone watching 😊
She deserves our respect and gratitude.
God save our late Queen.
Respect most of all
This arrangement of “I Vow To Thee, My Country” is beautiful. Such a moving tribute to the icon of our time across two centuries.

It's always very important to remember the Queen Elizabeth the second and Prince Philip who visited Australia 🇦🇺
This song I've never heard before has made me cry its so beautiful. I will always associate this with Queen Elizabeth.
Originally part of "Jupiter" from Holst's "The Planets". I like it being used for the Queen because that's what it sounds like.
I vow to thee my country.
Its the unofficial anthem of England.
Me encantó y la música bella.God safe the Queen

Technically the instrumental version of this is properly known as "Thaxted", not "I Vow to Thee My Country".
RIP Her Majesty, Elizabeth the Great...
