Good
1. There are two methods of "kidney dialysis". Hemodialysis (HD) and Peritoneal dialysis (PD).
2. Your explanation is about Hemodialysis(HD).
3. On the photo (0:04) is machine for Hemodiafiltration (HDF) which is the most used method nowadays and the principle of elimination is different.
4. Is not true that there is no movement of glucose in or out of the blood. a) dialysis fluid is allways leak to blood and vice versa. b) concentration of glucose in blood and in dialysis fluid is never 100% at the same level, so movement of glucose through the membrane is necessary to ensure balance.
Thanks! This is for 15-16 year olds in the UK. It is the basics they need to know. This isn't college level.
