I'm sorry but I'm concerned about this exegesis. There's nothing about Alpha/Omega that would communicate the idea of Aleph/Tav. Can you please provide sources which demonstrate that using Alpha/Omega would indicate this in literature outside of Revelation?
Alpha/Omega is in greek language as new testament is written in greek, at least the one we know is. and Aleph/Tav is from hebrew as old testament or Torah is written. in english its translated as First/Last from hebrew and greek. yet from english alphabet we would have A to Z as the First/Last but still the understanding is used as the same, even though our alphabets differ they come from same.

Whereas the second half is God, who is the Father. If and when one studies their Bible, it is clear that the Almighty is the Father. The 'which is, and which was, and which is to come' is again...Our Father. This is confirmed 4 verses earlier in the same chapter 1. Verse 4 tells us it is the Father.. Verse 5 says 'And from Jesus' who is NOT the the One who is in verse 4. This is further corroborated in chapter 4 into chapter 5 of the very same book of Revelation. The scene is very straight forward. The Lamb takes the book with seven seals from the hand of the Almighty, who sits on the throne. The Father who is on this throne is again portrayed as he 'which is, which was, and which is to come'. So... For someone to suggest that Rev 1:8 is speaking of only Christ, would then mean that Christ takes the book from the hand of Christ...meaning that their are 2 Christ's... Which of course is silliness. Jesus did not speak Greek so He would never have said I am the Alpha and the Omega. But He would have said I am the Aleph and the Tav.
