About to buy my 5th pair of barexf 210's. Most comfortable shoes I've ever tried. My only gripe is that I use them for running an they wear out really fast.
Great review. I have the OG F Lite 195 and really like training in the gym but also running in them. Looks like the F Lite 245 is the rightful heir. I wish the outsole of the F Lite 195 could last a bit longer. Is the sole on the 245 any better? How many miles do you think they would last?
I prefer inov8. They’re more stable, have better grip and fit my feet better. The Vivos are cool looking, grip is pretty terrible and the fit for me is a miss.
My 235s actually weigh over 270 grams, my 245s are closer to 222! I picked up the 245s after the previous video on top 5s of 2020- they're my favourite shoe, particularly as I've got an Assault Runner. They're fine for deadlifts, but if there's heavy squats or press movement I'd go for another shoe. It does make a big difference for box jumps especially no touch box jumps- nothing comes close to the 245 when doing higher volume lighter movmements.
Hi! Thanks for your so valuable work! I’m searching for all around shoes, good for boxe and functional training (a lot of plyometrics and some lifting, i guess).I’m interested in Inov8 but in Italy there aren’t resellers. Your thoughts about 230 vs 235 vs 245? or if you have other suggestions… I’ve narrow feets and i came from metcons (great for lifting and squats, but too junky for speeds)… Thanks a lot
@@G.Bfit.93 it’s just the amount of time I spend in normal trainers compared to barefoot shoes is way lopsided. There’s realistically only 3 players in barefoot training and they don’t make nearly enough new shoes to review.
I was thinking the same. For the past few years I've spent about 90% of the time fully barefoot and 10% in 'barefoot' shoes. And now regular trainers feel too weird and restrictive, I ended up selling them all on eBay. I think that supportive trainers weaken the feet over time but barefoot training strengthens them. When I tense the arch of my feet, the muscle is so strong it feels hard as bone. The one exception to this personally is that I like a bit of cushion when running so Inov-8 minimal running shoes work well for that as long as it's a wide fit.

I’d say they’re probably right in line with 195. They did make a graphene enhanced version that would wear harder than the normal 245.
@@AMRAP thanks for your quick response. Good to know. Would you know which model has the graphene sole? I'm looking for a minimal shoe.
Great review as always! What’s your opinion on the inov 8 XF vs the vivobarefoot primus lite 3s?

@@AMRAP thanks Joel!! You made up my mind for me :-)

Are both of these comfortable in the rower? I have an older pair of minimal Inov8s that I love, but something digs into my heels when I row in them.
I can’t recall ever having that kind of problem
Hey Joel - which would you go for the Innov8 Bare or the New Balance Minimus?
Depends on the workout, for CrossFit and lifting I’m going minimus.
Which one does have the widest toe box, 210 v2 or 210 v3?
V3 easily. If you can find 235v2 those have the widest.
Thank you. I bought 210v2 and 235v2 for a good price.
Any thoughts on flite 245 vs 235?
Depends on the workout but overall, 235v3 are king

Grams are more precise than ounces lol, youre fine.
Perhaps training with all the others shoes has damaged your feet and you need to go back to barefoot.
Nah.
@@AMRAP fair enough

@@christianlangfield9303 exactly! shoes that aren't barefoot are bad for the feet.
