- Hi, I'm April, I am a reborn artist, Mother of 5 and a Gigi (Grandma) former nursing assistant, medical assistant, and phlebotomist now disabled and wheelchair dependent due to genetic and autoimmune diseases, and spinal surgery. People with my genetic disease, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome are called Zebras which is why I named my nursery as I did. I love to make all types of reborn babies but open eye babies are my favorite. I mainly use air dry/acrylic paints and mediums(Golden fluid, RebornFX, and Ultimate Fusion) and I root most of my dolls but do some painted hair babies as well. I do tutorial videos and everything that includes reborn dolls and Ill also, infrequently, make a few videos about the rest of my life.

I'm sure that all your reborn babies will find their reborn mommies very soon, just put them all on Reborns.
Maybe some people at the doll show hesitated while being there and are now waiting on them to get listed.

Hello April I know personally I need a break to do something else I need change once in a while. Love changing my room around too. Repaint the furniture the walls make a different environment. Yeah, its just so cramped in here too...I need to have a bit more room without running into something every time I want to leave the room or go get something.
Yeah, Im having fun crocheting...Im making one of my pumpkins right now. My yarn for that came in the mail today 😁

Thank you so much. Yes, Maddy is very artistic, she draws really well too and has her own instagram that she posts her artwork on. She wanted to give up on sewing but I have been encouraging her to keep going. I think its a good skill and she could eventually make her own clothes. I got her sewing lessons but they let her do things that were too difficult right off the bat so it made her not want to try it again. Shes doing good on the diapers though so that gives her more confidence.

Does the vinyl feel rubbery? On the kit. The rubbery kits are so hard to paint.
I dont think so...feels like regular vinyl. I loved painting Eric/Erica so hopefully these little guys will be the same.

And I would like to purchase the pickle that you’ll be working on the one you said you’re gonna make darker. I’m interested in that one as well when you’re done.
It will be awhile before I paint that one but just keep tabs on my channel and you will know when I am 😁
