Even though I have this card framed and hanging on the wall in my craft room, very prominently, I still can't believe that you made this for me! I love it so very much! It inspires me to continue to strive to improve. I have learned so very much by watching your videos and following your crafty story. Thank you, Kristina. You are an inspiration.
I love your brush lettering! I could watch you letter envelopes for hours. It amazes me that you get everything centered without rulers. I use rulers and still can't get it right!
So many things I like: I will definitely use your new Versamark technique for bordering!; I love the red envelope with your calligraphy addressing, and the the poppy water coloring is grand! Thanks so much Kristina.
So very beautiful with the gold touches!!! Love your mail art, it inspires me to want to do some of my own, but haven't had enough nerve to try it yet!!!!!! Thanks so much, Kristina!
Kristina, I love the poppy card. You mentioned that you took artistic license with the purple poppies color. I work with botanicals and can tell you that purple poppies really do exist. They are called bread seed poppies and a variety that I grow is called Lauren's Grape. Beautiful card and Thanks. Love the colors!
Thank you Kristina!! Before I watched this video, I took one look at the card and thought .." how did she make that gold outline !!!!!!??????". Just awesome! I'm so trying this, it looks amazing. Thanks for all the painting tips also♥️
Love how you made the gold border!!! Beautiful card and envelope as always. I wait anxiously for all your videos :o) Just thought I would let you know that Poppies come in tons of colours; from the softest pink almost white to dark reds, violets and even white ones with coloured edges. I used to have the most awesome poppy garden and I really miss it.
That is a gorgeous card! Stunning! Thank you for sharing! Thank you for the opportunity to receive one of your fabulous cards. I left my information for you. I would be honoured to be considered.
What a gorgeous card, Poppies are my favourite flower, I have discovered over the last couple of years that they come in lots of shades. some are even a beautiful pink!
That’s my favorite thing to do with embossing pens is making borders! I also like drawing simple resist patterns for backgrounds like circles and simple flowers. I’ve also done sports balls before :)
Thanks for the idea to use the sagebrush to moisten the back of gummed things. I use lots of vintage stickers and gummed stars and this trick worked great. Though I set the area on my project where I wanted the sticker and the put it in place.
Kim I love all ur videos, it helps that I have the mission gold paints too! I’d Really really love it u posted what colors u use? I checked ur blog, but didn’t see the exact colors. Speaking for myself, it would be so much easier learning watercolor when I follow with the same colors as u. This way I can know what it “should look like”?! Lol! I’m sure once I get more comfortable, I can play with the colors myself. Thanks so much for sharing all ur talents!😊💗👍🏼
I am such an admirer of your work, Kristina! This card is stunning and I am so glad you pulled out that Versamarker to create the frame! Your poppies are amazing...isn't it fun to play Mother Nature once in a while?
So beautiful! I love the gold. I have a Versamarker too but I've never tried using it for borders. I'm so trying that out :). Thanks for the inspiration and for always sharing your talent and ideas with us.
Stunning card and envelope. I wonder why you can’t blot out the name and or the number of the address. Seems a little dangerous albeit VERY beautiful lettering. TFS
I know she has permission as it is mentioned in the video. I was simply pondering a way to make it a tad safer while still showing her beautiful lettering. 😊 I hope you Enjoy your gorgeous poppies and envelope.
Man, Kristina, this card is absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for explaining the process. Because there are so many mediums to learn to perfect, I haven't had much practice with watercoloring but am anxious to get started. For me, the only way for it to absorb LOL, is by sticking to one medium at a time until I'm at the stage where I feel that I have grasped it and feel comfortable with my results. I also love to watch you brush-lettering. QUESTION: May I ask, how long have you been doing it and did you take classes in the beginning? TFS Kristina!!!
No, they don't! I am learning to take creative license just because it's pretty. You did that very well with these flowers. I need to get these watercolors or something other than watercolor markers (Tombow and Distress) because the tips are getting frayed using this Arches paper.
Gorgeous, as always, Kristina! :) Mail art is one of my favorite things! It just makes me happy! 😁 I know you want us to sign up again every month (which is fine) but what's the "reset date"? I'd hate to sign up on the first if the "reset" is the 2nd. :/ Thanks Kristina!
So beautiful! BTW, did you get the USA Philatelic mailed to you by the USPS? I did for the first time since I ordered stamps after watching one of your videos about envelopes and how you order special postage stamps. Never knew this existed! 😍
I have a question for you. My friend and I are turning 40 this year and I want to fill up a pretty picture box with 40 birthday cards for her so I can send them for her birthday since I'm not going to be able to be there we have been friends since 5th grade. Do you have any cute birthday card ideas I could use? Thank you. I love your cards and I follow you on Instagram too 💖🌹
Beautiful, elegant card-and envelope! Thanks for walking us through how you used the watercolors for the card! ❤️🌺❤️

I so enjoy your envelope art videos, Kristina. The poppy card is so pretty! Thank you so much for sharing your art with us! Much love! ~😺Katz
I love your brush lettering! I could watch you letter envelopes for hours. It amazes me that you get everything centered without rulers. I use rulers and still can't get it right!
Love the simplicity of this card. I think you can make flowers any color you want. There are so many in the world we haven’t even seen so go for it. 😉
So many things I like: I will definitely use your new Versamark technique for bordering!; I love the red envelope with your calligraphy addressing, and the the poppy water coloring is grand! Thanks so much Kristina.

This card and envelope are fantabulous! I grow poppies, even plum colored ones. 😊

It's called talent. And I wish I could be half as good as you.

Absolutely Gorgeous! This is a card to be framed!
So beautiful! I’m glad you didn’t put a sentiment on the front, because it’s frame worthy!
Beautiful. I especially like the way you layered the colors on the petals. I like Payne's Grey too because of the bluish tint (?) to the color.
Beautiful card and envelope! Nancy is a lucky lady! Thank you for sharing and always inspiring!❤️
Beautiful. I love the 2 different colors of red. ; )
Absolutely beautiful and elegant.

Red and gold together are wonderful and I love poppies. Love this. Especially liked being reminded that I can use my Versamark pen to create borders.
That Georgia O’Keefe postage stamp brings it all together. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful card and envelope. I really like the gold thin line frame on this card. Gotta remember this as it really sets off the flowers so nicely.

Enjoy your gorgeous poppies and envelope.
@@cassandras1688 yes ma'am. And appreciate the concern.
Nice technique. For future reference about additional postage it’s 21 cents. Retired postal clerk Phyllis.
Another reason to not put a sentiment on the front of the card, is so the recipient can frame the card if they really like it.
Exactly!
Wauw!!! 🍀

I started watercoloring back in high school, then a class in college, and then picked it up again with my crafting about 6 years.

It’s always the 1st of each month. :)
Thanks! I'm looking forward to more envelope happiness! =)

Beautiful card, I tried to enter the monthly giveaway and it doesn't work.
So beautiful! BTW, did you get the USA Philatelic mailed to you by the USPS? I did for the first time since I ordered stamps after watching one of your videos about envelopes and how you order special postage stamps. Never knew this existed! 😍
I did! Ever since I ordered stamps online they've been sending me the magazine/catalog. :)
10 thumbs up.
I have a question for you. What a fun idea! You can click on my name to go to my channel page and then search for "birthday" and a bunch of videos will pop up. :)
