This is such a great way to get going. Those days where you know you want to create but you just can't think of what- start with a time challenge. Even if you hate it and toss it- or start over, it just breaks that block and gets you doing something. Same with scrapbooking- just make that first cut into paper and get it going.
Beautiful card & envelope! Classy! 10 minutes? Hahahaha.....that’s how long it takes me to pick out the cardstock for a card. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️. And I would consider 25 minutes a “ World Series” win for me!!!
I'm in awe of how beautiful your designs are and that you don't stop at the card, you decorate the envelope full of art as well. And your handwriting is beautiful, so neat. Great job.
I love your choice of soft navy - it went so beautifully with the flowers you created. That fancy envelope - people will think you designed the stamp, too!! You do such lovely work.
I love your videos Kristina, and I just wanted to say that since you've started filming a personal intro and outro, I've enjoyed them much more. It feels more personal and to be honest I like to see who I'm listening to. To put a face to a voice, it's much easier to follow along and techniques are better apt to stick in my memory. Thank you for all you do, you're fabulous!
Beautiful card!! I could see where you thought 10 minutes for just the card would be possible....you came close and it turned out beautiful! Now I think I'm going to try to make some quick but pretty cards like this, but I'm not going to lie....it would probably take me about 45 minutes just to pick out the stamps, ink colors, and decide on a design!! I have no designer or color experience....I just think it's fun to make cards...I donate mine to charity other than the ones I give to family!!
Well... I would be thrilled to spend less than an HOUR finishing a card so I will have to try your idea with some floral stamps and a large sentiment to see how I do! I wanted to thank you for the idea you shared a few videos ago about having a notebook to draft your card layout ideas in... I have several birthdays and various occasions coming up that I want to make cards for and I was starting to be overwhelmed but I remembered what you said so... I blocked out a dot grid sheet (10 per page) and then put each person's name in a block then flipped through my stamp & die reference notebook for ideas and it wasn't long at all before I knew the basic layout and supplies needed for each project! Now I'm in the process of creating them and the experience is so much more enjoyable! Thanks for your time and energy to create videos that inspire us in our card making journey! Have a great day! :-)
Kristina, I like seeing you in front of the camera. Your card and envelope were lovely, and you did it a lot faster than I would have. It doesn't even help me to sketch a idea, because I totally scrap it. :)
Awesome card and envelope. I must agree with Kristine Vencel and her comment. 10 minutes ...no way. I would start and then change my mind on colors, card stock and possibly even stamp set I was using midway in the process. Thanks for sharing.
Are you kidding? 24 minutes for a card AND envelope is amazing!! So beautiful too! I fell in love with those postage stamps and have longed to recreate the design on a card...great job!
Omg. If I told my husband I was going to do a card in 10 mins he would run out the door laughing. He says I can't get one done in 10 hours much less 10 mins. Lol. Great job Kristina! Glad u can make card and such a great one at that! God bless!!
I've successfully completed a 20-minute challenge, but would never even consider 10! Even the 20 minute one took me a couple of tries to finish within the time limit. I do love how your card came out, though, Kristina! Great color choices, and I think the envelope is so cool, with the stamping on the flap. And I doubt anyone would notice the difference between the navy envelope & the blue stamping--close enough for jazz at any rate! Thanks so much for sharing this! :)
I enjoyed your challenge but I agree with others that the creative process shouldn’t be rushed. Your project was beautiful whether it took 10 minutes or thirty.
Love the card and the envelope and I think you did really well on time considering the layering of all the stamps etc. Brilliant. Great stencil for the address.
Love the card! Glad you kept everything in cause you always make things look fast and easy. It was nice to see that your just like us! Thank you for sharing!
Love these Kristina! You are so good! I don’t think you should even try to limit yourself time wise, I love to watch you make these cards and envelopes so please, take your time. ☺️ So pretty!
Your card is just beautiful, Kristina! I love the softer look of a navy sentiment over black. The white ink on the flap coordinates beautifully. Lovely video. And PS Your nails always look en pointe! 💗
A great card and envelope Kristina. If I were to put a stop watch beside me to complete a card in 10 minutes, I would feel so rushed I would make a huge mess of it because I would always be looking at the time rather than what I was doing. LOL
Love it! I need to try this as I seem to take forever to make a card, which is fun but sometimes I just need a simple card that doesn't have to be technique driven. Thanks'
Thank you for showing the video even tho' you were not able to complete it in 10 minutes, it gives a lot of people heart to know that sometimes the professionals miss the mark too, but you were really pushing yourself to do it in that time. That said the card itself is gorgeous and the envelope looks beautiful the way you have addressed it and stamped the flowers on the flap. Perhaps you could do another 10 minute challenge again, it was enjoyable. Di.
I have enough stress in my life without taking timed challenges. 🤣🤣🤣 Love how your card turned out, though! I noticed that you also get a bit of a juicy ring around the edges when stamping with white pigment ink, which was reassuring since I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. Your videos are always educational and fun - thank you for sharing your talent.
I've always liked your time challenges, this one is no exception. I can't imagine getting something done this quickly. I should try it. the prep would take 1/2 the day. :-)
This would be a fun challenge but I know Id be in the same boat as you and not make it in 10 min! Mine always take longer but that’s ok! Your card turned out beautifully and I love that envelope addressing tool!
Hmm... something about "the best laid plans of mice and men..." and card makers!! Beautiful card - as always!! And I love watching you letter. It's therapeutic for me, as is actually doing lettering myself. Thank you for sharing your "fail"! :D
It's a beautiful card!! Nice work. I don't really count the time when I'm making something beautiful. I just enjoy the process so very much. Making beautiful things makes my entire life more beautiful. To me there isn't really a way for that to take "too much" time. I know my comments miss the point of the time challenge; I just wanted to share my idea about the amount of time it takes to create beauty. Have a beautiful day. :-)
Love the card and envelope. So, I take it that the Gelly roll pen comes in various sizes? I have been struggling for a long time with these pens and only recently discovered that you need to use a light touch when writing with them! If they come in various sizes, could you comment about that in a video? Also, could you demonstrate how to write with them...especially on dark paper? Or, maybe you already have a video covering that...and I just missed it. Thanks!
Your card and envelope are beautiful ! And doing the same card in 24 minutes would be a big challenge for me, and that would be without the envelope - LOL !!!
This is such a great way to get going. Those days where you know you want to create but you just can't think of what- start with a time challenge. Kristine Vencel ha!! This sounds totally like me too! It takes me hours and hours to complete my cards!
Kristine Vencel I’m with both of you! I think we just need to practice more 😊
I'm in awe of how beautiful your designs are and that you don't stop at the card, you decorate the envelope full of art as well. And your handwriting is beautiful, so neat. Great job.
Ive been watching your videos for years now, and I’m really enjoying the face to face intros you’re doing lately. Thank you for all the inspiration!
I love your choice of soft navy - it went so beautifully with the flowers you created. That fancy envelope - people will think you designed the stamp, too!! You do such lovely work.

Yet another beautiful card & envelope! I love watching your videos. No matter how long it takes to create.
24 minutes is still twenty times faster than I could ever get a card done!! 😂😂
Beautiful card!! Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
I love how this card and envelope came out! I think getting it done in 24mins is still very quick!
Beautiful card!! I could see where you thought 10 minutes for just the card would be possible....you came close and it turned out beautiful! I can usually complete a card in 5...hours! I love the idea of stamping the envelope flap.
Ya about that 10 minute concept 🤣
No way could I do that! I love how you pull inspiration from the stamp and echo the colors...just beautiful!
It's good to see the real-time slow pace at which you do your lettering. It's obviously quite painstaking, but worth the time and effort ✍💌
This made me smile. I have to admit that when I saw someone else doing a walk through of the kit, I thought "Kristina was behind the stamps"!
You still did great with both in that time period! Love how it came out both the card and envie. Hugs, Brenda
Gorgeous. It goes to show, never rush creativity, Like a fine wine, it takes time...
Great looking card and envelope, never made a card in 10 minute but you gave it a shot...well done Kristina
A beautiful clean but cheerful design. Great to see a card that isn't Autumn or snowy😄. It's warming up down here in Australia
The card and matching envelope is absolutely lovely! Watching you make your cards is so relaxing😊
Love the card. I can’t imagine anyone making a card in 10 minutes, even someone super experienced like you. 😁 You did a great job.
Thanks, Kristina. As Usual, the card was terrific. Don't care how long it took, I was fascinated to watch your process.
Kristina, I like seeing you in front of the camera. Your card and envelope were lovely, and you did it a lot faster than I would have. It doesn't even help me to sketch a idea, because I totally scrap it. :)
I love the envelope stencil, such a genius idea.
Just beautiful!! When the result is that pretty, it’s worth the extra time on the envelope.
Awesome card and envelope. I must agree with Kristine Vencel and her comment. 10 minutes ...no way. I would start and then change my mind on colors, card stock and possibly even stamp set I was using midway in the process. Thanks for sharing.
You always make cards look fabulous. Love the matching envelope.
Love this card and 24 minutes is still great for a card AND envelope! I've been with you so long that I remember the 5 minute challenges!
Are you kidding? 24 minutes for a card AND envelope is amazing!! So beautiful too! I fell in love with those postage stamps and have longed to recreate the design on a card...great job!

Yes, most definitely.👍
You have such beautiful ideas. Thanks for sharing them with us.😊
Thank You Kristine for the awesome video! I appreciate all you share, and may I just say this: You a a very beautiful person inside and out!:)
How very pretty. Thank you! Time stops when crafting!!!
I've successfully completed a 20-minute challenge, but would never even consider 10! Even the 20 minute one took me a couple of tries to finish within the time limit. Thanks, Andrea! :)
I enjoyed your challenge but I agree with others that the creative process shouldn’t be rushed. Your project was beautiful whether it took 10 minutes or thirty.
It was absolutely stunning. Stylish and classy! Loved it
Love the card and the envelope and I think you did really well on time considering the layering of all the stamps etc. Brilliant. Great stencil for the address.
So beautiful! I couldn't have even finished in your time frame!
I love to see your creative process in action! Fun video and great card and envelope! Love the colors you used, such fresh and happy colors!
Love the card.... You are a beautiful person, inside and out! It shines through in all your work! ☺️
Beautiful card! I love your creativity. OMG! Your lettering is perfect.
Amazing card and envelope! I am sure I could never make a card in 10 minutes but maybe I will give it a try anyway. Wish me luck!!
Love the card! Glad you kept everything in cause you always make things look fast and easy. It was nice to see that your just like us! Thank you for sharing!

Really pretty card and envelope. I would consider making a card and envelop in 24 minutes a major win. 😘
The kit is really full of good stuff! Love the card you made, even if it went over ten minutes!
Very cool... Love it and envelope....I always forget to decorate the envelope
This is beautiful and now I have to have this kit, hope it’s still available! Hugs and blessings on your day!!
Green top looks amazing on you! It is definitely your color! Card is fabulous!
The card & envelope were amazing, I think it was fantastic that you managed it in 24 minutes! It would have taken me hours 🤣

BEAUTIFUL CARD - INSPIRATION to do a challenge but the end product is the best part of a challenge!! Loved it!!!
The card is beautiful an so worth every minute! Thanks for sharing.
Love it! I need to try this as I seem to take forever to make a card, which is fun but sometimes I just need a simple card that doesn't have to be technique driven. Thanks'
Very beautiful! I just love watching you create, I always learn something new & have my creativity sparked. Thanks for all you do for us!
I think your card was awesome even if it did go past the time alloted. It is always fun to watch your videos.
Loved your design. Envelope looks great.
No matter how long it took, the result was great!

Beautiful! I love one layer cards! More please!
As usual, a beautiful card and matching envelope!
Beautiful card Kristina! Thank you for sharing 💕💖
Both the card and envelope turned out lovely!
Your card and envelope both came out beautifully! Who cares how long it took.
I love watching you create cards! You do inspire me♡
I love it! I would have left out decorating the envelope and still taken that long.
I have enough stress in my life without taking timed challenges. 🤣🤣🤣 Love how your card turned out, though! Thanks for this video Kristina! I bought this kit and so far haven't used it. Your card is gorgeous and I'm going to try it!
I've always liked your time challenges, this one is no exception. I can't imagine getting something done this quickly. I should try it. the prep would take 1/2 the day. :-)
Your beautiful glowing face and happy attitude always makes my day better. Not to even mention all the things I’ve learnt!!! Thanks for all you do!
I know. The whole time she's talking I'm thinking she has such great skin. :)
very nice, always enjoy watching you create.
This would be a fun challenge but I know Id be in the same boat as you and not make it in 10 min! Mine always take longer but that’s ok! Your card turned out beautifully and I love that envelope addressing tool!
Just beautiful! I would have watched your video even if it had taken you an hour. Your creativity is breathtaking! Tfs.
Another beautiful card no matter the time it took to complete it.
I love this challenge.Great work girl!
Very pretty! even 24 minutes is amazing! it would have taken me hours...
Kristna! I love how you are showing your beautiful self in some of our recent videos! You really are so beautiful!
These were great! 10 minutes? Don't think so, but nice try. Thanks for trying and you can try again any time!!! Stay blessed.
Hmm... something about "the best laid plans of mice and men..." and card makers!! Beautiful card - as always!! And I love watching you letter. It's therapeutic for me, as is actually doing lettering myself. Thank you for sharing your "fail"! :D

Gorgeous card! It would have taken me a lot longer than it did for you to finish! It usually takes me 2 days to do a card...lol!
Lovely. If I were not minimizing my possessions prior to retirement, I would be buying stamps and ink pads like crazy.
Lovely card. 24 minutes seems like great time to me. I’d still be picking out ink colours and cardstock/etc! 😆
Beautiful work! No way I would attempt 10 minutes or even 20!
Awesome as usual, love your art.
Loved it, still great time on such a lovely card and envie
Your writing is beautiful!
Its beautiful ! and fast to make if in a pinch.
I remember the "5 minute card" because it inspired me to make a similar quick card for a last minute birthday!
Who can put a time limit on art? Great card. Thanks for the video. Love the stamp set!
Love the card and envelope !
Nicely done. Thank you for sharing.

Your card and envelope are beautiful ! And doing the same card in 24 minutes would be a big challenge for me, and that would be without the envelope - LOL !!!
Can’t wait to make it!!
Very nice card and envelope!
Just beautiful! And who cares if it went over the time limit.
God bless ❤ XOXO
