Basically, theres a pretty bloody werewolf transformation scene I wanted people to be prepared for, and Remus is having an overall Bad Time(tm). Sirius is also going through it. Just putting the lads through the ringer lol.

THE ENDING AAAHH. like people always ask why sirius laughed like a maniac if he was innocent. THE MAN LOST EVERYTHING IN A MATTER OF HOURS, betrayed and incriminated by his best friend, of course that’ll drive you insane.
MHMM MHMM YESSSSS Like I look back and I see all the mistakes he made, but without the hindsight, idk what he could’ve done 😅
and the aurors took it out of context.
Baby Harry, Hagrid hugging Sirius, the transitions during remus’ transformation, the WEREWOLF TRANSFORMATION??? I have CHILLS this is all so incredible, brb I’m going to go watch this again
Sirius' laugh at the end- I've always loved, and hated because of the pain it gives me, the idea that his laughter was not caused by a jinx, but instead by the impossibility of everything that has happened to him.
He knows everyone thinks he was the Keeper - that was the plan.
He knows no one will believe him - why would they? Peter was never good at Duels, Peter was always so kind- and he was a Black, related to so many Death Eaters.
He knows Remus is now left alone - Lily and James dead, Peter believed to be dead, Sirius locked away in Azkaban-
He will never get to see Harry grow, never get to take him to Hogwarts, never see him ride his first broom, catch his first Snitch-
And on top of all of that, James and Lily died on October 31st.
Three days later, November 3rd, Sirius spent his 22nd Birthday in Azkaban,
The werewolf transformation scene is UNREAL! and the love in Hagrid's and in Harry's embrace! The gesture with Lily is heartbreaking. I'm a bit surprised Sirius doesn't break down more over James' body but I suppose he's trying to run away from that? In any case, absolutely brilliant video! All the props to you!!

WHAT THE FUCK THAT WAS SO GOOD!??!?!?! Your animation is so well keyframed and planned, especially the climax. The quick cuts between Peter munching his finger off, his wand movement, Sirius' face and the explosion.... amazing.
Also Remus' transformation looks sooooooo painful and was greatly animated too. Every shot seems to have been thought of, the backgrounds and the angles are beautiful.

Fuck, I’m ruining my makeup, oh my god. Just, wow. This is so amazing, genuinely the most impressive fan animation I have seen ever, in any fandom. Not just because of the skill and effort of the animation itself, but also because of the artistry. I can’t even put into words how impressed I am, and how emotional this made me. Just…wow. All the scenes you chose to portray and especially how you did them, Peter running away as a rat with blood on his paw and remus’ transformation, the color schemes and the transitions, the music choice- this is just all around perfect and beautiful, and heartbreaking . And Sirius at the end, fucking hell that was so tragic, and you did it so well. Amazing art, thank you for creating this masterpiece.

OMFG I've seen so much marauders content out here and holy fuck this managed to absolutely destroy me. I've never seen anything that just really really just went straight down to the shit omfg. Absolutely demolished, sobbing, I can't this was insane.
Some of my favorite moments:
0:28 - The way Sirius looks at Remus omfg it's making my heart melt
0:36 - AAH they're so cute I can't
1:06 - oh god just seeing him surrounded by all of those papers and that dejected look of just betrayal augh hurt so hard
1:36 - Sirius' fucking disbelief and sheer panic it's absolutely sending me god
1:40 - fucking nightmare fuel
1:46 - GOD the way like Sirius is just so heartbroken seeing Harry, the way his expression reads as so glad he's alive but so crushed by everything
2:00 - Sirius closing Lily's eyes gave me such intense flashbacks to Snape holding Lily's body in the films, and god like the juxtaposition between those two scenes just shows how much RESPECT Sirius has for Lily. Like Snape holding her in the films just shows how he wants to possess Lily even in death, whilst Sirius closing her eyes is like giving her the rest she properly deserves. And given the fact that Sirius descends from one of the most prejudiced pureblood families it just shows LEAGUES of how Sirius thinks so highly of Lily and how he's completely rejected his family's prejudice. Like GOD it's just such a good moment and just highlights so much of his character (I'm also curious what it means that Sirius didn't do the same for James, although my speculation was that he was too in shock and it took seeing Harry to take him out of it)
2:02 - Augh the way he's just like so deadpan and defeated walking out of the house it kills me so much after seeing so many moments of him smiling with Remus. Like in the flashbacks he's such this sunshine of a character to like Remus' moon (ahaha) and it just is so painful to see that bright character fade to this absolute low in this moment. (also I just realized just how fucking good that parallel is of Sirius being named after a star and Remus being a werewolf, GOD wolfstar is just so good)
2:11 - GOD this whole sequence of Sirius hugging Hagrid then the fade from this smile back to the deadpan. Like I could just feel what was coming from that expression and how he storms off in this intense rage. Gave me a lot of Achilles vibes in the best way.
2:19 - Literally just this shot of Remus' back made my blood curl like you do this visual foreshadowing so fucking well it's killing me
2:24 - Then this transition to Sirius walking in this crowd like JESUS these moments just feel like a train-wreck you can't stop and you're forced to watch it chug down a broken track
2:25 - Assassin's Creed vibes in the best way possible ahaha
2:31 - AUGH this moment of Sirius grabbing a startled and also definitely very anxiously panicked Peter so fucking good like the rage Sirius has is just chef's kiss ALSO HOLY FUCK THAT TRANSITION TO REMUS IS SENDING ME
2:43 - Nightmare fuel nightmare fuel nightmare fuel. This hug is just so fucking terrifying like, the way that Peter is expecting some sort of forgiveness over the guilt he feels is absolutely appalling. The moment before with Sirius pinning him down also excellent omfg
2:46 - AND LITERALLY NOT EVEN 3 SECONDS LATER THIS FUCKING SMILE. NIGHTMARE FUEL. Like god it's really giving a just horrifying feeling of what this man will do to escape his fate and the way he's just accepted everything and is just so willing to blow it all up. Absolutely fucking horrifying
2:28 - AND CHRIST I KNOW IT'S LITERALLY 2 SECONDS BUT THIS WHOLE SEQUENCE WITH THE DRUMS IS JUST GOING FUCKING WILD. NIGHT. MARE. FUEL. and also just like the big explosion, the dead bodies, the people running, the fire in Sirius' eyes just. absolutely fucking devastating i can't.
2:59 - Holy fuck like Jesus Christ, amazing animation and absolutely horrifying. You really made Remus' transformation just the most painful fucking thing imaginable. Like the books gloss over this so horridly and here you're putting it front and center and christ. Him clawing at himself, his spine literally ripping out of his back, and just how disgusting and terrible his motuh expands. horrifying. absolutely horrifying. I've said it over and over again but such fucking nightmare fuel omfg. (amazing job i hate it so much, just incredible work)
3:18 - NAH NOT THE FUCKING FLASHBACK I'M LITERALLY CRYING. This with the music swelling like god the way this man just has nobody to help him now is just so fucking devastating.
3:30 - the whole sequence leading up to this like the music swelling, his slow walking, then this fucking face of terror, the jump back, the FUCKING FINGER, god it gave me LITERAL PHYSICAL CHILLS. And by the time the severed finger showed up I'm just tearing the fuck up omfg what the fuck what the fuuuuuck
3:40 - FUCKING RAT OMFG THE SEVERED HAND THE LOOK BACK JESSSSUUUUUUUSSSS
3:42 - NAH NAH NAH BC THE WAY HE'S LYING THERE ALL ALONE, THE WAY THE SUN IS RISING NAAAAH
3:55 - Sobbing
4:00 - Me too Remus, me too
4:01 - OMFG THE PROPHET BURNING. the worst is too like, majority of what i look for in the fandom is Black family content like anything about the Black sisters I'm obsessed with, and the way it's literally a mirror to how his mother burnt his portrait as a way to disown him from the family and that symbolically Remus is doing the same thing. I can't, heart-shattering.
4:18 - horrifying. absolutely horrifying. the way this man is both laughing hysterically and sobbing at the same time, killing me and sending me to the grave
Thank you so much for this, I will now be heading off to sleep with this masterpiece of nightmare fuel in my mind. Amazing work, this animatic fully encapsulated just the sheer terror and trauma of these events on a scale I could never have imagined. JKR would've never had the fucking balls to write anything nearly as fucking heart-wrenching. Just such incredible work. Now goodnight and fuck TERFS!

I absolutely adore the details you added, they added so much more depth and humanity to the characters!! Like, for example, the countless papers on the walls of Remus's house or the details in the Potter's home.
Also, the transitions were fire. Nothing more to add.

Oh my goodness, this animation is so amazing I can't even find the words to express the way I feel watching it. Your art style is GORGEOUS, the characters are incredibly expressive... This is wonderful. The way Sirius slowly loses his mind, Remus sinks into a deep depression and Peter looks both overtaken with remorse and resigned... I nearly cried. This is the best animation I have ever seen so far. Amazing, totally. Loved every part, the emotions around all the animation were so strong. The werewolf transformation was insane. You can totally tell it was a traumatizing part for their lives. It shows the struggles Remus had to live and the betrayal from Peter to his friends, how Sirius suffered. It was suffocating situation for all of them. I absolutely loved it. You did an amazing job.
