If you could figure out how to sell a quality version of these around $1,200 to $1,500, you'd be swamped with purchase orders. At your current price point, I think you should consider the case of the JDS Multi Router, a fine machine -- but priced way out of the market. The competitor PantoRouter is a very high quality tool which does everything the JDS Multi Router does (and more) at less than half the cost and is immensely more popular. A similar case is that of the Strong Tool Design ("R.I.P.") JointMatic . Alas, in the latter's case, they made the mistake of selling the JointMatic patent to ShopSmith, who came out with woefully inferior modified version but at close to the original price point. I happen to own an original JDS Multi Router and an original Strong Tools JointMatic. I got them at auction or estate sales for about 1/4th the original (overpriced) cost. Do I love and use those machines? You bet!! And I wish that every serious woodworker could have one. Would I have paid the original price? Nope. I thought both products were simply way over-priced. Apparently the market agreed with me.
