The guy became unsuccessful and nobody wants to work with him (the guy was a very successful singer in this movie) because of his drinking and misbehaving issues. Both this people fall in love and the girl helped him so much by doing everything for him as well as she tries to help him get rid of his drinking issue. However, the guy did not want his girlfriend to waste her time taking care of him and he only wanted her to focus on her success and rising career. He asked her to leave him and go away to make her life but the girl wanted to be with him and help him. This is the reason the guy killed himself because he wanted her to leave her life happily and not just waste her time taking care of his unsuccessful boyfriend (the guy in the video)....... i tried my best to explain the story briefly i hope you guys can understand the song now.......and sorry if my explanation is confusing...

In the morning he left the house saying that he's going to the gym but ended up committing suicide. Well that's it i guess in the movie.
