Pl take note of the unique Score Sheet in Raja's hand, with his profile printed on it. Such Score Sheet was on the cassette sleeve for the album "How To name It"
pause at 0:21 its A.R.Rahman is the centre
that was one of the rare Ensoniq Mirage sampling keyboards in India, IIRC.. this came in mid 80s and brought a new wave of sounds hitherto unheard.. this was one of the first ones with sampled sounds being used as tones.. it had decent orchestral instrument sounds in its floppy disk based libraries given it had a surprisingly low RAM of 128k and a sound quality of 32kHz.. sounds took time to load, so no quick changes in mid songs.. but it changed the tonality of songs .. then yamaha DX7 and Roland Juno used to rule, with predictable electric piano & slap bass tones used to the max.. this stood out against them all.. till the roland D50 and Korg M1 came and shook the market up

woo this video is soooooooooooooo valuable..i always dreamt i should see ilayaraja sir working and strongly beleived it wont happen..but thanks to youtube and thanks to the uploader..my dream is just nothing...its so much possible..due to some reasons i cudnt post comment so posting as reply to some comment here..tnx..untill youtube i was ilayaraja music fan..but after youtube i became ilayaraja fan..what a pure and great character..now i feel in front of his character his music is nothing.

500 படங்கள் இளையராஜாவுடன் ரஹ்மான் வேலை செய்ய வாய்ப்பே இல்லை காரணம் 1976 முதல் 1980 வரை இளையராஜா தனது முதல் நூறு படத்தை நிறைவு செய்துள்ளார். நூறாவது படம் மூடுபனி. 1985 ல் இளையராஜா தனது 300 வது படமாக உதயகீதத்தை நிறைவு செய்தார். 1987 ஆம் ஆண்டு தனது 400 படமாக நாயகனை நிறைவு செய்தார். 1991 ல் தனது 500 வது படமாக அஞ்சலியை நிறைவு செய்தார். 1995 ஆண்டு 700 வது படமாக ராசய்யாவை இளையராஜா நிறைவு செய்தார். 2014 ஆண்டு தாரை தப்பட்டை என்ற தனது 1000 வது படத்தை இளையராஜா நிறைவு செய்தார் 1992 ஆண்டே ரஹ்மான் ரோஜா படத்தின் மூலம் இசையமைப்பாளராக அறிமுகமானார். முதன் முதலில் இளையராஜாவிடம் ரஹ்மான் (திலிப்குமார்) வேலை செய்த படம் மூன்றாம் பிறை 1982 மொத்தத்தில் 1982 முதல் 1992 காலகட்டத்தில் இளையராஜா இசையமைத்த படங்கள் 300 படங்களே மேலும் இந்த 300 படங்களிலும் ரஹ்மான் இளையராஜாவுடன் வேலை செய்திருக்க வாய்பில்லை. அதிகபட்சம் நூறிலிருந்து நூற்று ஐம்பது படங்களில் வேலை செய்திருக்கலாம்.அதுவும் ஏதாவது ஒரு இசைக்கருவி வாசித்திருப்பாரே தவிர இளையராஜாவின் இசை குழுவில் நூறு இசை கலைஞர்களில் ஒருவராக மட்டும் தான் ரஹ்மான் (திலிப்குமார்) இளையராஜாவுடன் வேலை செய்திருப்பாரே தவிர இசையமைப்பாளராக அல்ல. ஏ.ஆர் பிறந்ததே 1967 ல் தான் இளையராஜாவுடன் வேலை செய்ய வந்த காலகட்டத்தில் அவருக்கு வயது பதினைந்தில் இருந்து இருபதுக்குள் மட்டும் தான் தனது இருபதைந்தாவது வயதில் 1992 ல் ரோஜாவில் தனி இசையமைப்பாளராக அறிமுகமானார். இளையராஜாவுடன் அதிக பட்சம் நூற்றுக்கும் குறைவான சில படங்களில் மட்டுமே வேலை செய்திருப்பார் என்பது தான் உண்மை. இளையராஜா என்னும் இசை ஆளுமைக்கு முன்பு இந்திய இசை கலைஞர்களில் இளையராஜாவிற்கு முன்பும் இல்லை இனியும் பிறப்பார்களா ? என்பது சந்தேகமே !

@@arumughamsivakumar7453 student means learning something from a master... Rahman worked as a keyboard player as well as sound programer. Without having skills you can't join Raja sir's orchestra. Of course, Rahman might have learnt other skills like how to compose a song, how to add emotions to a film through background scores etc., But there are hundreds of other such people who worked with Ilayaraja .. But only Rahman could become successful music director..
Ilayaraja himself has cleared the doubt in this video itself..
