Hi MIke, really enjoy your channel because I'm into old records too. Vernon Dalhart's 78 is actually a double "A" side record withThe Prisoner's Song charting at #1 for 5 weeks in 1925 starting on 3/221/25 and is the biggest selling non-holiday record for the pre-1955 era. The Wreck Of The Old 97 charted at #5 for 4 weeks in 1925 starting on 5/16/25. Good find and really enjoy seeing what You find! Thanks, Bill.
Lazy Boy series #3 ...or is it #4? Anyway, more fresh product! The hell with over-priced RSD crapola and record shows - we love the call of the wild! 🐯🦓🦬 Roll it! ...I think we all love (and have) The Corsairs, "Smoky Places" - always a great record! ...The Damned 45 is cool - never saw that one - nor the Fear 45... Went to a library sale - they had a few great 78s in EX+ condition - including "Boogie Woogie Santa Claus" by Patti Page! ...and YES, that Lightnin' Hopkins 78 was ⭐of the show! ...Have a Merry Christmas everyone! 🎅
Don't know what year the Lazy Boy is, but definitely seventies with that orange plaid. The Lightnin' Hopkins 78 is one of my best shellac finds in awhile. Merry Christmas
Hey some very clean 78's very cool finds. love RCA Batwing labile. the Bobby Curtola is a Canadian as well as Men With out hats are still touring up here in Canada. The Dammed is cool find. the 12 inch singles are great cause a lot of them have b sides not on the lp love Prince . That Devo find is great doingJimi Hendrix . Hope you have a Verry Merry Christmas .
The Damned on that 80s MCA rainbow label that I associate with endless mainstream country records, nice! I bought a couple of boxes of 45s in an auction - mostly mainstream country & pop from the 60s through early 80s, all in good shape, but I did find a record by The Sonics. Well, it was by a group from Louisville, Kentucky called The Sonics that was an early 1960s instrumental rock group, not the more famous garage band. I got a few other obscure Kentucky records local to the area as well.
There's a lot of common stuff of various genres on that MCA label. Great to find the Dammed. If I ever start traveling to car shows out of the area I would love to look for local artists I wouldn't run across in SoCal.
This guy just ran up and started putting blue tape on all the records without even looking. If I did my record buying like that I'd have a lot of Perry Como, First Family, and Sing Along With Mitch in my collection.
Thanks Mike for your knowlesdge on records. Especially the labels to look for. Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!

I"ve got spurs... not a country song but from the Bob Hope movie Son of Paleface
Guess I always associated it as being a country song
WHEN LOOKING FOR RECORDS I IGNORE STRANGE PEOPLE
