I'm aware that my citations don't really follow academic standards, but I have attempted to make them as clear as possible to understand which parts in the videos I quote or base from sources. This video was Wikipedia-heavy since I struggled with finding sources that talked about the 3 Sacred Treasures in detail, but in my future videos I will try my best to have more diverse sources. Tips or feedback is welcome if something is unclear 😊
I always assumed Babymetal had some deeper lore, but until now I didn't fully realize. Thanks!
There really is a lot!! Thanks for watching ☺
Wow, i've never seen this level of deep analysis on Babymetal lore! A great entrance on youtube, now i can call you my colleague!! Keep up the hard work 💪🏻🚀
thank you that's so kind!! ☺️
Congrats on posting your first lore video!! 🎉 I look forward to seeing how many of your predictions come true! 👀🔥
jsfhdk yeah it will be certainly be Interesting to see if i'm completely off lol
Good job!
For a moment I pictured all of us entering the Yokohama Arena with swords... 🤣
"Momobanger" aside, I don't want to make any prediction. If there is something really special... I will be happy. 😊
🤘🦊
Thank you so much, I'm also looking forward to seeing what they will surprise us with!! It's fun to imagine the chaos of a mosh pit with swords... 😅
Very interesting analysis and references to Japanese culture - GJ!
I'm not doing a prediction but I'm wondering why I haven't seen anyone talking about the possibility of MomoMetal having a solo with a cover of a song from her birthyear. Maybe it had been too long since we last had one of those, but I surely would enjoy that.
OK, I checked the Oricon Charts for 2003 and my prediction is that we will get a Momo-Solo of "As for One Day" (Morning Musume). The song will be only for one day and it's by MM! It was not on 03.03. but on 05.05. but that's good enough for me.
@@klauskluge7256 I think I saw someone else predict this as well! I don't know if we will get a cover since Moa didn't cover anything during Legend M and BM seem to have moved away from covers, but it sure would be cool :)
excellent content Moonmetal, the most likely prediction did come true, Momo did Momobanger and it was awesome and she growled a bit too, it was cool. I look forward to your videos, because I love the Lore.
Thank you so much!! Haha yes I was happy to see that my prediction of Momobanger on day 1 was correct 😄
I had no idea baby metal had so much lore, but damn such a good and informative video
thank you so much!! 🫶
This was fantastic.
Loved it.
Such an interesting deep dive. Looking forward to your video on Legend MM
Thank you so much!! ☺
I love it! Looking foward to the next one!
Thank you so much!!
Nice first video!
While it's obviously referencing them i don't think the treasure needs to be based on any of the three actual "Sacred Treasures" since none of the treasures for Legend S(eye mask, medallion and poncho) or Legend M(wrist brace, coin and water bottle holder, i think?) had any such connection.
What i think is the most intriguing is the color and the 20 and 21 night name, it suggests that we are going to get to see something special on both nights.
Thank you!! And that's fair, I think the magatama would be easy to "Babymetalize" so to speak, but what you say does make sense! And that's a good point, I wouldn't be surprised if we do get something special on 21 night!
This is such a great idea for a channel.... you are going to do so well.... the need for indepth Babymetal information is off the charts... I wish you luck, I am now a subsciber and already a big fan, Thanks so much.
Thank you very much!! 😊
Hiii girl!!! Your video is amazing!! There are so many details you mentioned that I never even thought about, the amount of research you must have done is incredible. Please continue with the video’s, I loved this one and I will definitely check out your future ones! The visuals in the video where very nice and you have such a great speaking voice. I can only hope for more and I clicked the follow button as soon as the video was over. Much love! ❤
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!! 💖
Thank you for this video, very interesting.
You make some great points, I wouldn't be surprised you are in the right track with a bunch of these.
I don't think I will be 100% right with every detail, but I do think that what I managed to find links together too well to be a coincidence 🧐 Thank you for watching and the comment!! ☺
this was great!!! excited to see more of your analyses
Thank you so much!! 😊😊
Excellent video. Initially, I thought they would discuss whether they would perform an old song again, show off a new outfit, or talk about other predictions that were made regarding the concert. However, he was fascinated by the in-depth analysis you did in the video. I'm looking forward to more videos like this!
Thank you!! 😄😄
I loved your video! I signed up! 🤘🏽🦊❤️
Thank you!! ☺☺
Thankyou, subscribed and liked ❤
Thank you!
Fantastic first video , really well done and extremely interesting to find out a bit more about Japanese culture . I look forward to more videos in the future ( no pressure LOL )
Thank you very much!!
great video!
Thank you!! ☺
o wow! good job im waiting for more videos from you! i have listened yo babymetal for years but i have no idea about the lore. I would be so happy if you make more videos about lore and other stuff 🩵
thank you so much!! there's a LOT when it comes to babymetal's lore, and i will keep doing videos to the best of my ability 😊
I started a third watch to share with my mum, as she was complaining about someone else "going on" about Dune... And she got 6 minutes in, I'm working on the 3rd full watching. This was amazing, and I had no idea that this is impressive amount of lore (or even close to it). I mean... I should have had some idea. They are a, "cute metal band" which has been around for some time. There's got to be a lot more to it than just being good musicians.
Thank you so much for watching! And yes, the Babymetal team clearly puts a lot of effort into the lore, so I'm happy that others are also appreciating it 😊
Honestly blown away. Now I'm going to have to go find some Babymetal to listen to. @@moonmetal
“ Not a Cult” 😂❤
Subscribed. Very, very nice. 🦊🦊🦊 🖖❤
Thank you very much!! ☺️
wonder why no photographers exit of yui - it's like she's disappeared
Well, i would say this is a pretty sloapy staircase. We must not forget that the lore is sinply a marketting tool and a lot of its elements are simply overruled by real production problems or simply because Kobametal lend into other sources, like The already mentioned Evangelion.
I'm aware of that, but I'd still argue that there is thought put into the lore that I think is interesting to analyse. But thank you for your comment, it's a fair point and could of course good to mention!
I was impressed by your wonderful thoughts. However, even if you dig deep into Shinto, you may not be able to arrive at a direct answer. This is because producer KOBAMETAL seems to have been deeply influenced by the Japanese anime "Evangelion" and borrowed its worldview.
Thank you for your comment!! 😊 I know there are Evangelion references but I have not yet watched the anime... 😅 But you gave me motivation so I will try to watch it soon 😄
