what kind of data is anylogic able to use. like from Architects. we use Revit. whats the best way to use the allready material mapped elements in design for anylogic. Or blender? or... this is something importend for us. where are the details from, when the model in anylogic is weak.
Hi and thanks for the question, AnyLogic 8 allows importing CAD drawings that can be automatically converted to walls (anylogic.help/anylogic/presentation/cad.html#cad-drawing). It reduces the amount of time required for creating the model space markup. This how-to video could be helpful (ruclips.net/video/fDzIKhGh7R4/видео.html). It demonstrates how BIM software (Revit) can assist in AnyLogic models development . Basically, the process consists of saving BIM model in .dbf format, importing it as a layout using the CAD drawing element and building your logic on top of it. In case you have detailed 3D models that you want you import into AnyLogic (e.g. created in Blender), 3D object supports 3D models created in Collada (DAE) file format. You can learn more in this AnyLogic Help article (anylogic.help/anylogic/3d/3d-object.html#3d-object). We hope this information is helpful. Feel free to let us know.
Thx again for letting me play along 😃
