Hi Monique! I just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing this! I’m still pretty new to your channel, but I’ve been watching just about everything I can find on there concerning finances for the last month or so. I am also working through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace program, but I agree that he should not be quite so aggressive by calling ppl stupid. That’s just rude, but I really appreciate you and what you do on your channel! I greatly appreciate how thorough you are with your research and breaking things down for us! Your hard work is not going unnoticed!

The best thing is to be on a budget prior to starting to use your credit card like this. In order for this to work, you have to have the money to pay off the purchases before you make them. I use this method as well and it is easy to say well it's only $20 more and before you know it, you are over your budget. If your grocery budget is $200, then only charge $200. Same with all purchases. Have the money to pay for them cash before you put them on a card. Also, I use the envelope method to budget and save for big ticket items. I saved for 2 years to purchase a freezer. The one I wanted was out of stock for a long time. Last March, it suddenly came back in stock and I was able to order it immediately with my credit card because I had saved the funds already. Once the bill came I was able to easily pay it in full because I already had the money sitting there waiting. Also, before you try this, start an emergency fund. It is so easy to put an emergency on a credit card and then you end up paying for that for years. HTH.

Truth! I always either pay my full bal or my statement bal on or before the due date which has not only increased my credit score, but keeps me out of dept and I also get my rewards.

Exactly Love your channel! My background in financial accounting I have been showing people how to do this and if you follow what she saying you will be credit card debt free. Then use your deposable money for investments. It not easy process, but it take time. Also try not to have more than 2 credit cards. Here a benefit when you are shopping at Amazon or other stores online or offline you will have cash back points when go checkout apply the points and go with free shipping and total order is free and I always had more than several Items at one time. There are stores that will give you points when you shop with them and you don't need a cash back cr cd you just apply the points when shop with them again.🥰

You are phenomenal, may I add, every credit card, I set up on autopay for the minimum balance, just in case I am not able to pay the balance in full each month, for unexpected events, and that way I never incur a late payment! Hi Monique, what do you think about LCB "Low Content Books" I saw a video last year and the lady did several videos going step by step to start the LCB process. I did several LCB but I was wondering if I miss something because I see no action from anyone to buy any of my books? Do I have to create many LCB in order to make some kind of profit, or did I miss something?

Are you taking your channel to more of a finance niche ? I enjoyed your cooking, dinners, and dates,family life . Etc.
I like Dave Ramsey’s financial teachings, I don’t necessarily agree with him religiously and not at all politically. Bug his take on using credit less and paying cash and being frugal, and not taking on car loans, but paying cash for what you can afford etc. Not buying luxury, brands, etc. Generational wealth by paying cash for vehicles, and paying the home down, instead of the bank owning everything etc. Many have car payments and are teaching these kids it’s better to look like money than have it. Even if they think they can afford the payments, having no car payment, would allow them to pay off the home, and land , hence , generational wealth. Which is important. I’d be interested in some of that frugal, no labels and brands lifestyle. But I miss you guys other videos , can we have one once a while ? 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😊😊😊😊💕💕💕💕 I’m sure the RUclips stats are better on this Niche , so I get it. But I miss y’all’s other family type of videos. Love you guys. Hope all is well. 💕 .

The interest charged is based on your balance when your account cycles. Make sure you know your due date and your cycle date.

Girl you know your stuff. We are on the same page. I use my credit card like there is no tomorrow. Mind you that's pretty much for my needs. Am too poor to pay interest so I commit myself to pay off my balance each month. When I cash in my rewards points am so rich. I cashed in more than $200 last Christmas in rewards points. My bills are my friends because once I pay them it makes me feel so good. Control your bills, do not let your bills control you and you never age a day in your life.

Hey Girl , I understand what you are sharing but I am confused as to do I wait for my cycle date to pay off and does the balance matter of what I pay . Meaning if I auto pay my minimum and have not utilized my credit limit does it still help my credit as if I did utilize my credit limit and paid on my balance due? Example. $500 limit I have a 200 balance my minimum is $25 but I pay my balance of $175 off by my cycle date is this still AS affective as if I used up to my credit limit and did the minimum and paid off the balance by my cycle date?
