Even if there's very few small choice things we disagree on, He's legit the ONLY teacher on RUclips I can 100 percent trust because he does back up EVERYTHING he teaches with the Word.
Not even riding him, but it's just facts. These other RUclipsrs need prayer, because they're sowing discourse among the Church, and that's a dangerous game, ESPECIALLY when they're wrong.
People really think you can just say "I love Jesus" and make it in to Heaven.
So anyone who teaches eternal security is a tare in your opinion? That is harsh my friend. How do you know they are not born again? If someone teaches something you don't agree with they are a tare and a false teacher?
There are many born again believers in both camps and we all need to show more love instead of finger pointing and criticism.
If you truly have discernment why do you not believe Jesus? SIX times in the book of John ( just one book) He promises that none, NONE, will perish who believe in Him ...
I suggest you read Jeremiah 33:3 it will change your life IF you seek God and not man and forsake religious teaching.
@@kimwestwood8840 We are saved because of the Grace that comes with genuine faith. Faith isn't something that's just professed, it's shown. That's why the book of James states "Faith without works is dead". While we're not saved by works, works are proof of faith.
This said, OBEDIENCE is the biggest work and most important work. What Marc is saying is that many use "I'm saved, I'm covered by grace" as a way to justify their sin.
Grace is a gift and it is plentiful, but it is not to be abused.
"Not all who come to me and say 'Lord, Lord!' shall be saved."
"But what then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? God forbid."
Marc isn't anti Grace. He's anti-lukewarm.
The only person who knows who will be saved and who will be left is God Himself. That is why it is a battle til death to fight your flesh and get a well done. "Those who endure til the end, shall be saved."

Dying in unrepentant sin will send you to hell? Thats Catholic doctrine , which is false. Those who believe in eternal security do so because first this is revealed to them by the Father, secondly its biblical,....we we don't have the attitude of "no matter what." Not even the man after His own heart ! David pleaded with God not to take the Holy Spirit from him for the willful sin he commited...

13 Then I will teach transgressors about your ways, and sinners will turn to you.".
You see, David makes it clear believing in God is a condition. As long as you live in Him obeying Him, you're in a saved state. The same thing with king Saul and Samson, the Holy Spirit left them when they chose to go against God.
We know God never changed, from the Old Testament to the New Testament God is the same holy God...was and will be. Let's take a look at the New Testament...

Act 5:32
"32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who keep on obeying him.".
The condition for the Holy Spirit to keep abiding in a believer is to KEEP ON OBEYING God. We know by believing in Christ and repenting and turning away from sin, then a believer receives the Seal/Mark/Brand of God which is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our ticket to heaven if we keep Him and not lose Him by practicing sin. It's a condition...
Heb 3:18-19
"18 And to whom did he swear that they would never enter his rest? It was to those who disobeyed him, was it not?
19 So we see that they were unable to enter because of their unbelief.".
Disobedience is unbelief in God !

Once saved always saved- when He truly puts our name in book of life, it isn't written in pencil. Now we can believe we are saved, but we aren't. I was saved and I backslid. The Holy Spirit wouldn't let me enjoy my sin, thus proving to me I am saved.

@@aviathic yes there is always Hope. Find a Church and be open, honest and vulnerable. Allow others to pray over you and most importantly hit your knees with a heart of despair. With God on your side, you can bounce back and overcome. I'd also say to read the prodigal son everyday

Also remember what Apostle Paul reminds us in Romans 8 & our longing for our future hope. Romans 8:24-25 “Now in this hope we were saved, but hope that is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees? Now if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience.”
As we continue living for Christ this side of eternity, let us like Paul eagerly wait for our future hope with patience knowing our Lord Jesus has promised never to leave or forsake us...Our souls can find rest in God because our hope is in Jesus who is said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary & burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke and learn from me, because I am lowly and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls (Matthew11:28-29)

@Saucy - Like it or not, God calls His children to live Holy lives. If your "faith" does not result in you living a Holy life in your conduct and behavior, then it is dead faith, and unable to save.
1 Pet 1:15-16 - but like the Holy One who called YOU, BE holy yourselves also in all your behavior, because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”

Right at the beginning you are thinking that you are stating the definition of this term but in fact its more than false. We Christians should stop to let people who are OBVIOUSLY no Christians dictate what a real Christian is. No real Christian would promote that it is ok to live in sin and to have a no repentant lifestyle.
I too firstly didn’t believe in OSAS because these false Christians started to falsely explain what it means, but when you get to really understand its fullness you will see how essential it is. Regarding who God and His character is but also His Word, because if OSAS is false, then the Bible would be contradicting itself, but it’s not.

I was raised christian my whole life. When I went into my teen years, I started to go towards the carnal ways of the flesh. As time went on, I continued with a sinful life. God removed blessings and other things and let bad things happen to me. I'd come back, then I'd go back to sin like a dumb dog eating its vomit.
After more time, in 2022, I was invited to witness a couple of my friends get baptized. This was also during the day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit came and was so powerful it was overwhelming. I hadn't felt that in such a long time. I started going back to church after that and became baptized myself. I was still living a carnal life, but things felt different. I felt instruction to confess my wrongs and make things right. After some time, I got a huge wake-up call and was told to confess and take the walk seriously. I confessed with my mouth about what I was doing and felt relieved. I had finally done what God was telling me to do. He then told me to remove other things that were not of him. I did as he commanded. I'm still giving up things that are not of him, I still struggle, but I want to please him. I take my walk seriously.
I humbled myself, confessed I was a wreched sinner, confessed my sins, and asked for mercy and forgiveness. I asked to be restored. He kept his promises, as he always does. I take my walk daily. I'm still learning and still diligently learning more about him and what he wants me to do with my life. The things that I used to like now hold no interest to me. I only want the things of God and what he wants in my life.
Thank you, Mark. You and other people who are followers helped give counsel and preached the gospel. God worked through you and others to bring me out of the darkness and back into the light, back into life. Now I live with only one purpose, to serve our heavenly father and bring the salvation of Jesus christ to those who are lost and in sin.

In my opinion anything easier is usually wrong and anything harder is usually correct. Its easier to curse someone than to pray and bless them, it’s easier to get revenge than to leave it in the lords hands, and it’s easier to believe once saved always saved instead of losing salvation. It’s just wisdom/common sense. People just want to move their lips without actually following his commands.
It is easier to go through the wide roud than to go through the Jesus road which is nerrow, because it is only through Jesus, He is the gate.
But if one believes in Mormonism, JW, Budda, and all of the hundreds of false religions including the ones that beleive you can lose your salvation, this is why you need to work hard to keep it, because the blood of christ was not enough, well that is the wide road. OSAS is the narrow road because we beleive Jesus is the ONLY way, it is just hard to see people hating that, just like the Pharisees in the old days, they were working hard at the law, did they believe in the nerrow road? of course not because it involved ONLY Jesus for our salvation, and today pharasees are no different they don't belive that Jesus is the ONLY way this is why they all are working hard to help Jesus save them by their WORKS!

It's hard for human's to believe that Jesus' death, burial and resurrection saves them if they believe it. That's it. No work on our part. Jesus Christ alone. And yet the majority of people will say "Yeah BUT you have to do this or that proving yourself", backloading a bunch of works to do, taking their eyes of Jesus again and onto some holy thing they think they are. It's in our flesh to ever think we can be holy apart from what Jesus did. The gospel is easy but the flesh nature makes it hard and can't understand it because it thinks it's good but nobody is good, only God.
Naaman had but to only dip himself 7 times in the Jordan river to be cured of his leprosy humbling himself. I think it’s true in the comments that I’ve read that it is in our human nature to take matters into our own hands. I don’t want to bash anyone, I just will pray for the Lord to continue the work HE started in us until HE perfects it.
Never ever diminish the power of faith and Christ to save and hold you. You cannot apply human logic to spiritual matters. There is no common sense involved in a God who would empty Himself and become human as a servant and reconcile man back to God. Without Jesus, there IS NO faith. Without Jesus , there is NO salvation. Without Jesus there is NO holiness or overcoming or ANY faithfulness. WE are all faithless wretches and to think we have anything to do with our salvation is ignorance and delusion...Eternal life is eternal, NOT probationary ...New creatures , NEW heart, new desires , NEW LIFE....
People get the wrong ideal about once save always saved. You can't loose the blood of Jesus once your saved. If you believe you can loose your salvation than you trusting on yourself instead of Jesus blood at the cross. Being save doesn't mean you don't sin. You ask for forgiveness because God knows the heart. Once save always save doesn't mean you can sin as much as you want. Those people was never save in the first place. Once you save you can't loose the blood of Jesus. That is once save always save means.

And so, although Jehovah created man and woman and finished the project of seven days, He by no means completed the creation of man, for man was but a husk, and lacked the reality of being human. Man only knew that it was Jehovah who had created mankind, but he had no inkling of how to abide by the words or the laws of Jehovah. And so, after mankind came into being, the work of Jehovah was far from over. He still had to fully guide mankind to come before Him, so that they might be able to live together on earth and revere Him, and so that they might be able, with His guidance, to enter upon the right track of a normal human life on earth. Only in this way was the work that had been principally conducted under the name of Jehovah fully completed; that is, only in this way was Jehovah’s work of creating the world fully concluded. When the Age of Grace arrived, Jehovah no longer guided man in this way. Man had sinned and abandoned himself to sin, and so He began to rescue man from sin. In this way, He reproached man until man had been thoroughly delivered from sin. In the last days, man has sunk to such a degree of depravity that the work of this stage can only be carried out through judgment and chastisement. Only in this way can the work be accomplished. This has been the work of several ages. In other words, God uses His name, His work, and the different images of God to divide age from age and make the transition between them; the name of God and His work represent His age and represent His work in every age. Supposing that the work of God in every age is always the same, and He is always called by the same name, how would man know Him? God must be called Jehovah, and apart from a God called Jehovah, anyone called by any other name is not God. Or else God can only be Jesus, and apart from the name of Jesus He may not be called by any other name; apart from Jesus, Jehovah is not God, and Almighty God is not God either. Man believes it is true that God is almighty, but God is a God who is with man, and He must be called Jesus, for God is with man. To do this is to conform to doctrine, and to confine God to a certain scope. So, in every age, the work that God does, the name by which He is called, and the image that He assumes-the work He does in every stage all the way down to today-these do not follow a single regulation, and are not subject to any limitations whatsoever. He is Jehovah, but He is also Jesus, as well as Messiah, and Almighty God. His work can undergo gradual transformation, with corresponding changes in His name. No single name can fully represent Him, but all the names by which He is called are able to represent Him, and the work that He does in every age represents His disposition. Suppose that, when the last days arrive, the God that you behold is still Jesus, and He is moreover riding upon a white cloud, and He still has the appearance of Jesus, and the words that He speaks are still the words of Jesus: “You should love your neighbor as yourselves, you should fast and pray, love your enemies as you cherish your own life, forbear with others, and be patient and humble. He has only so much power, and there is no more new work to do, and He has taken His power to its limit. Two thousand years before now was the Age of Grace, and two thousand years later He is still preaching the way of the Age of Grace, and is still making people repent. People would say, “God, You have only so much power. I believed You to be so wise, and yet You know only forbearance and are concerned only with patience. You know only how to love Your enemy, and nothing more.” In the mind of man, God would forever be as He was in the Age of Grace, and man would always believe that God is loving and compassionate. Do you think the work of God will always tread the same old ground? And so, in this stage of His work He shall not be crucified, and everything that you see and touch shall be unlike anything you have imagined or heard tell of."*

Why would you lose your salvation if it is a gift from God that you don’t deserve? That makes no sense. The Devil is the one who tells people you can lose your salvation. I started to pray for protection because I have a feeling someone is wishing ill for me and wishing for my downfall. I pray to god for protection to help me and send angels to guard me. The walls in my house started banging for the first time in my life. When I prayed for protection noises started happening in my house. My room stay got brighter after prayer. I could see in the dark. Where before I couldn’t see anything. It was super weird. God bless everyone please pray for my protection. Someone is out to get me spiritually because of envy. Revelation (which is a symbolic book) 14:9-11 gives a warning about worshipping the beast and receiving his mark. Hey I am a born again christian from Germany and I wanna share with you what god told me about loosing the salvation.
I prayed for months over this topic because I didn't understand why some believe you can get lost after true salvation and some believe it is impossible. I was so confused and scared that I realized only god can tell me the truth. There are bibleverses for both...only god can show you if you search him with all your heart. So I prayed over months that Jesus will tell me if I can loose my Salvation and if there is a Chance for me that I will never be with him after I die.
And finally he answered me ❤️ with bibleverses... The Son abideth ever. John 8,35
Jesus will never leave his children. After that god gave me more verses. I think Satan wants to steal our joy.... How can we be really Happy If we do not know about our eternal salvation? It is like Religion to me otherwise.....

Free grace theology is TRUE christianity. You falsly accuse christians who believe in free grace by claiming that we preach a free license to sin which is a LIE. Folks, if you think you need to do something to keep your salvation, then you must've done something to "earn" it and that is a doctrine straight from hell itself. If you are saved, then you are now the gracious recipient of a promise between the Father and the Son, and it would be the epitome of "arrogance" to think you are powerful enough to break that promise. 🙏✝️🙏
I had a dream this morning I was backing out of a Subway (had some yesterday lol) and my brakes were not working as I kept reversing. I almost reversed all the way into a busy intersection but my car stopped while I was just BARELY in it. I interpreted it to be that I am moving backwards in my walk with Christ and my spirit has been weakened to the point where I'm having difficulty controlling it. I was making excuses and exceptions for the sin that I've been struggling with (s*x before marriage with my GF) and I've really been feeling lost this past week. Thank God I still feel conviction towards what I'm doing. What Marc is saying is very real and its very scary to realize just how easy it is to fall into this mentality. I'm going to start my day by repenting for my transgression and asking for the courage to speak up against what I know I'm doing wrong. I'm ready to lose people in my life that are keeping me from walking this narrow path if they are not accepting of my decision. Thank you Marc for the edification and reminding me faith without works is dead!

God revealed Himself to me, and I accepted Christ as my savior. God created us all with the ability to accept or reject Christ. I accepted Him as my savior, and now I live out my faith serving Him. Maintaining my faith is evidence that I am one of His. Election does not mean salvation; I was elected to hear the gospel, and I responded to that message. "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10). I walk in them which is proof that I am saved.
That is what OSAS is, THE LORD PRESERVES all that love Him. Do you know why Peter made it? Go back and read the Bible, Jesus said, BECAUSE I HAVE PRAYED for you. So wait, you mean to say, that it was because of Jesus that Peter turned back? Yes, but Peter believed in Jesus as Messiah and Son (nature) of God, God in the flesh. Peter DOESNT make it without Jesus praying. Jesus didn’t pray for Judas, because He knew from the beginning that he didn’t believe and would betray Him.
There would be no fallen angels if "once saved, always saved" was true.
The grace of God only applies to humans not angels: Hebrews 2:16

I’m on fire for the Lord, but I still sin. Am I proud of it? No. Does it convict me every time? Yes. Am I perfect? Nope. But, not one person can say (without being a liar) that they are completely 100% without sin. Even after being saved, they can fall short of the perfection of Jesus Christ, because He alone is the only person to walk this earth and be spotless. BUT, Christians cannot lose salvation. By believing in Him you have been marked by God and sealed by The Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14). A Christian is guaranteed glorification, otherwise Romans 8:30 is in error, and God doesn’t lie (Titus 1:2) or make errors, because He is perfect (Psalm 18:30). Salvation is the gift of God and is “irrevocable” (Romans 11:29). Christians cannot be un-newly created. The redeemed cannot be unpurchased. Eternal life cannot be temporary. Nothing can separate a child of God from the Father’s love (Romans 8:38-39), and nothing can remove a Christian from God’s hand (John 10:28-29). With all that being said, obviously to live in willful sin is direct disobedience and steps on the blood of Christ, ESPECIALLY if you call yourself a Christian…but God is patient, merciful, and loving. For instance, if I’m born again and in recovery for drugs/alcohol and one night I relapse because someone close to me died or something like that, I’m now in sin, correct? Now let’s say I OD or die of alcohol poisoning in my relapse and I die in sin…do you really think that Jesus will condemn me on the other side? Food for thought. According to my faith I’m forgiven (Ephesians 2:8-9). Love your channel brother in Christ, but salvation is irrevocable, irreversible, and eternal.
@@Anony584 you have valid points, but we have to look between the lines of what scripture says in order to uncover the truth. OSAS’s biggest flaw is the ideology that you can live willfully in sin and still get into Heaven, that I agree on, and I’m not promoting their ideology. I know what scripture says about being lukewarm and the verse from Matthew, all I’m saying is that once you call on the name of Jesus there’s a lot of steps to take to get your salvation revoked, a lot of which require changing God’s words and “proving” He’s a liar…which is impossible. But both ideologies, OSAS and living “perfect,” are slippery slopes. OSAS is saying “do whatever you want, you’re saved,” and living perfect and holy is following every commandment to a tee. There’s got to be a middle ground…which I think is Jesus. It’s clear that you can’t just do whatever you want to, especially as a Christian, but it’s also clear that ALL have fallen short of the glory of God. Everyone. Not just unbelievers but also people who believe. Yes, we have a standard to strive for (Jesus), but we’ll never reach as human beings, which is why he did what he did on the cross. All I’m saying is this: there’s no loophole on salvation. Willful sin, unwillful sin…all are equal in the eyes of God (James 2:10), BUT by HIS grace and HIS mercy and JESUS we are forgiven. Not by our holiness, perfection, or Kingdom works…by Jesus, through repentance, and most importantly faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Once saved always saved is the true doctrine of the gospel. You cannot lose your salvation the bible proves that. The verse your mentioning "endure to the end to be saved" thats for the tribulation saints and that talking about physical death not salvation. I encourage marc to repent and share the true gospel of christ and that is once a person believes in the death burial and resurrection of christ they are sealed with the holy spirit until redemption and can never lose or forfeit their salvation. This is a hard doctrine and I still think I believe in once saved always saved, not certain, I've debated and studied for hours, but to put it simply, if you can lose your salvation, you can't get it back, Hebrews 6:4-6, the doctrine is for you, you have to keep working to keep it, and the doctrine for like my church would be, you cannot lose your salvation because God doesn't make mistakes when saving people, and you make think you were saved, and lost it but the "2nd" time you were saved is actually your first time saved, We were predestined, OF COURSE it's a dangerous to alone say to someone else that they are saved, THE MAIN PROBLEM on both sides of the argument is having a false assurance of salvation, you could think works is what saves you, like you can get to heaven through your works (I don't believe) or you could think you are saved and continue living in sin like nothing happened, but you weren't actually saved,
Please read the Parable of the Two Debtors
--notice how the servant asks for patience to pay off a such HIGH amount of debt, he doesn't ask for forgiveness but he receives the forgiveness, but doesn't forgive his servant (in that case he had a false assurance of salvation and kept on sinning)
--where as some people who believe like you, don't recognize the gift of salvation (forgiveness of debt) and are still trying to pay off the ENORMOUS amount of debt here on earth

very false. just watched young don and realized how wrong he is. the entire first chapters of revelations talks about the church and how the church needs to fix things or else they will go to hell. These are Jesus words. It seems people are afraid to read the book of revelations and understand that God is a righteous God and unless we repent from our sins we will inherit the kingdom of God. Faith is dead without works, not only do I have to believe but I have to pick up the cross and follow him daily.

I used to believe this Once Save Always Save doctrine & I was deceived. I got on my knees & prayed to God & ask him for forgiveness for believing in that false doctrine.

I do believe in eternal security. I didn't always, but one of the verses that made me realize it is Biblical was the verse where it says that God disciplines His children, sometimes with the destruction of the flesh but the salvation of the soul. What I didn't understand was if you could lose your salvation then why would God take some Home, but leave others to apostasize? Also the Holy Spirit seals us until the day of redemption. In another verse, the Lord Jesus said that He will lose none of His sheep. Also, somewhere in 1 John it says that if someone goes too far, the Holy Spirit was never in Him. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Also, none of the disciples left their faith because they were saved.
Even though I stumble and fall, I'll always get back up again and fight for our Lord. He has humbled me beyond all belief, I know I've returned to where I was.... I felt the sorrow... I seriously hope I didn't do something horrible out of ignorance/ being deceived. I'm trying to fix that relationship that I feel I've messed up. I've repented and gave back what I got, I just hope I'm doing right by him now.

The Holy Spirit makes me fully aware if I start to stray and I'm brought back to the path.
If you willfully sin knowing that then the issue really is that, you do not truly believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and / or raised from the dead.
How do you become saved. How do you become sincere?
You confess with your mouth that you believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins and was raised from the dead. You repent of your sins and ask for forgiveness. Ask Jesus to make you over into a new creature and be transformed by the renewing your mind. Romans 10:9-10, 13. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Romans 12:1-2.

I have said this for so long that the devil has so many people convinced that once they see the simple words I’ve chosen Jesus as my life and Savior, that I am saved forever no matter what horrible behaviors and terrible denial of God‘s laws I perform on a daily basis and lack of love for others, ego and all this other horrible characteristics. I remember talking to God and begging him for answers, and he clearly told me to stop being a lazy person and follower. You must learn to read the Bible on your own and not listen to the words that can be fallible by men no men, including a pastor or priest. Should be fully trusted as they’re human and they can make mistakes and the way they perceive the Bible read it on your own and God will give you the answers. Were you lack but to think that you’re safe forever and you can just do what you want is an insult to God I’m so glad that you’re talking about this because the enemy is destroying many souls who believe in this nonsense.
