I think that it's just overlap between midevil esthetic, but this is so funny to think about.

That aerial shot is the only one thats weirdly similar, and likely is just a vfx artist being lazy and/or paying homage.

Um honey. SHREK was released in 2001. The book of FIRE and BLOOD that HOTD is bases of came out 2018. So, yeah......and one more thing. Thanks to Lord of the Ring is the reason Game Of Thrones exist.
