whatever many people think about this album,i believe it is brilliant. i listen to the prodigy since 1994 and in my opinion this is one of their best album. in Master Liam we believe.
AGREED!!! I still remember when I queued at Our Price records in town back in 1992 to get my hands on EXPERIENCE album cassette lol I will never forget that day cuz that album was just brilliant, and I have just finished listening to No Tourists and it is absolutely brilliant. Loved every track!!!
Interesting. I’m still working my way into this album. Finding many of the repetitive vocals distracting (from the music) and annoying. BTW, long-time Prodigy fan, I am. Presently, favouring last 2 albums over this.
You know I didn't even know the prodigy released another album and this one definitely has grown and grown and grown on me Non-Stop and at this point it is my favorite album. Even though in my opinion music for the jilted generation was always my favorite this one has something about it that drops everything so heavy so hard and mixes it up perfectly to where extreme energy is extracted from it....Liam!!! Thank you sir.
Agreed mate its got the old school vibe. Not sure when I started following them but I saw them at the Palace Night club in Blackpool and it was before there Charlie single was in the charts and we are the jilted generation 😉
Love The Prodigy. Liam is a genius and deserves a Knighthood. Another quality album, thank you for all the memories and helping me get though life all of you involved. Peace. Miss you Keith x
Im going through all the interviews since the passing of Kieth. I was there in the 90's and Next to Cypress Hill and Beastie Boys & RATM.. The Prodigy changed my life cooked all of it together and smashed it!!! Thank you.
I really like listening to Liam talk about pretty much anything, although on some interviews he was saying "You know what I mean" after every sentence which just got annoying after a while. Maybe someone told him to cut it down a little because he barely says it during this one at all, haha.
He's hardcore...that's what I love about him. Anybody that knocks another person's music is just shit and immature. I love it when Liam puts the journalists in there place, like, "where's your fucking album?"
@@SurfingBoulder It's always the way when artists become successful. Everyone expects them to keep on churning out iconic tunes. I don't blame Liam for having a go at journalists. He's a legend and has been responsible for some of the most ionic tunes in dance music. The Prodigy have produced so much incredible music. Even a what some people might consider a bad Prodigy song is 10 times better than most EDM songs out there especially these days. The thing I love the most about The Prodigy and Liam's production is that they've never compromised for anyone. Liam makes music he's passionate about and that's what's so central to their success.
@@TheMDbauS Only just saw your reply. Now that you mention it, he doesn't do the "doyouknowwhatimean?" much here does he? Doesn't really deter me from listening to him speak though. It's kinda part of his charm in a way. Maxim on the other hand, says it every couple of words.
Always great to hear the legend himself Liam speaking in an interview. I've been a fan of The Prodigy for almost 10 years and all of their albums are masterpieces of electronic music in my opinion. I do wish I could go back in time and see how it was like back in the early 90's rave days.
I don't know how every Prodigy album is unique but each one has the same DNA running through them. Don't know anyone else who's been around for so long that still sounds as fresh.
I love The Prodigy since 1995. Most of the albums are great - but this one is somehow special - the amount of energy here is insane. ‘The night is my enemy’ and ‘Invaders must die’ is cool - but this album is better than the last 3. It is one of THE BEST. On the level of ‘The fat of the land’. I’ve seen them live in Leeds on Tuesday - edgy, fresh, energetic as ever. Proper punk-rave night - with 2 or even 3 generations of fans getting mental together. By far the best gig I’ve been in my life - and I’ve seen many gigs. Was rave-moshing for 3 hours straight at The age of 40 - with my 15 yo daughter 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💥💥💥💥💥
That’s true what Liam says. If he worked secretly on someone else’s track, the fans would know it. It’s that signature sound that just goes with key producers that even they don’t realize. Another example is Todd Terry. I can pick out a Todd Terry production anywhere or at least something inspired by his work.
I really like this Album, i like the tone and the mood of the video's i can listen to this all the way through. The thing about the Prodigy is their music isn't always of the time for example Always Outnumbered never Outgunned wasn't that well received at first. But when you hear Spitfire being played in a scene in Gotham serie's it make's sense. You cannot pin down the sound of the Prodigy only Liam, Keef and Maxin can put it together. I hope that we see another Album release because this is the Album that say's The Prodigy are stronger than ever.
I love how NS1 is buildt It feels just like the angry desperate cry for some love I like to treat No Good Warrior's Dance and Timebomb like the trilogy as they got the same vibe
This album has surprised me as I thought it was gonna suck due to me not digging the first batch of songs released, I still don’t like need someone and I often find prodigy release maybe some of the weaker songs first. Anyway I think it’s a strong album and def up there with there best, maybe the best since FOTL
Big Prodigy fan since 'Charly' came out , so thats a long time but lost em after fat off the land.. dont feel anything for the whole punk la la la its boring! This album is no different..beats are ok but the whole 'special feeling' is gone its missing. No tourists is just another album.Fotl was special. After Fotl i could not listen to a song without losing intrest. Nothing lasts forever!
That's so funny because boom boom tap was the first song I liked on this album. I really enjoy the part after the dropping of the four letter word. Anyway
@@Joe-kt7zp that's crazy you say that because last night I had a dream that he dropped like a double LP or something but anyway I've had a lot of crazy dreams these days
At the moment, I prefer listening to Liam than listening to his music. I sincerely hope Liam detests every word of that sentence. I few years ago I recall reading an interview in Q magazine where Liam declared he owed his record company £7m. Yip, I hear you Liam and it shows in the music you're releasing. That vital punk edge has gone sadly.
Prodigy still smashing it! Great interview. Not as political as they should be, they could start a fucking revolution if they wanted, so a bit lame, but then, they wouldn't be raking in the cash if they did that. Plus, lose the miming drummer at the shows. FFS! - he might well be a great drummer, but it's embarrassing to watch!
Go and see The Prodigy live like I did last Friday. You'll have fun dancing for an hour. You'll feel great, maybe it will stop you being so negative. Go and see them live and have a blast! :-)
@@Sciencedgofood Apart from the miming drummer. Fucking pointless, and me being a drummer, it's fucking embarrassingly cringeworthy! Oh, and the miming guitarist :) Other than that fuckin banging
