18:30 - always hated those bottle necks where you couldn't see who/why was stuck. Do you wait like cattle as there are some riders in front or say f' it, gas it and go.....!! Miss the adrenaline of HS's for sure. Great job, snotty nasty conditions as usual out there it looked like. Good ole OH clay......

@@buttfarmfilms3620 I see why you did only 1 lap, I would too under those conditions. Just absolutely exhausting. Puts it in perspective the Pro's/Top riders doing 5 laps is mind blowing.

Yes sir, they ride like these conditions don't bother them at all. I pulled off because I sheared my shifter and didn't want to be in their way on gnarly john penton single trail anymore

There isn’t a suspension setting in the world that would work in those conditions haha. That looked brutal.

Every time you were behind a bike, you can see the tire just packed in. No one could get enough speed going to clear the knobs. Misery was eminent.

New Sub!. Nice Ride. I was in the morning race. Looks like some ruts looked a lot better by the time you got to them. I couldn't believe it got dusty at the end !
I see it looks like the re-routed you about 17:17. Not sure why. That looks like a mess ! That's the kind of virgin ruts we saw though. I feel for ya !!. I ended up toasting my motor just short of the second lap.

It helped a lot being able to see the areas with traffic and staying out of the fresh soft spray, and welcome to hell!!!

You gotta stop hesitating and build your momentum. Carry your speed and you'll get through that stuff much easier. I know it's greasy and low traction but momentum is everything in these conditions. Try riding 1 gear higher too. That 250 has some bottom end grunt, not like the 300, but it'll still pull without as much wheel spin riding it a gear higher. That'll help you a lot.

Momentum is your only friend!! Thanks 🦾

I know it’s hard but feet on pegs and clutch is your friend and use the bottom end in those conditions. That was my specialty and I thrived in it. The above post is 100% correct. Great job and always practice on hard conditions that never give you a breather. When you do that the races are easy.
