Brock James Monty Oum was brought on for animation in RvB iirc. RWBY was his creation and lovechild. I think I remember Burnie talking about how he'd basically work all day and sleep at his desk working on it. Unfortunately, Monty passed away, someone else can correct me if I'm wrong but I wanna say during Volume 3 or shortly after Volume 3 of RWBY ended. It's still going today thanks to Miles and Kerry.
