I like how VibingLeafs creepypasta's have happy endings. Most nowadays seem to end on a grim or ambiguous note, so having a happy ending is a nice change of pace.
most creepypastas are always like "oooooh the main character saw spooky guy and now he's fucking deeaaaaaad" this is why vibingleaf is so underrated his creepypasta recreations aren't more grim then they need to be and I love that
If Herobrine did exist, I believe that he wasn’t an enemy or an ally, but an entity that just.. watched you. Doing no harm but leaving strange structures throughout the world. I see a lot of mods and videos displaying him as the final boss of Minecraft but what if he isn’t? What if he really did exist, with the first image of him from 2010, what if that was really him? And once the myth gained traction and everyone was looking for/hunting him.. he vanished. Never to be seen again.
Holy smokes that is a good analogy my friend. I remember I kept trying to find Herobrine back in my old Minecraft worlds and I could not find him. He would not appear. The only way I encountered him was within the dream world. He was not hostile in any of them only in the second and fifth dream he tried to harm me but he didn't for some reason or another. It almost felt like he was trying to communicate with me
2:55 The music in this segment is so good, its so familiar to a Minecraft song yet loses itself into something mysterious at the same time. I don’t know how to describe it, but its magical.
That was actually beautiful. Unlike other creepypastas, I like how yours actually have story and meaning. Its not just there to scare you, its there to tell you a story as well. Loved this!
The ending actually made me cry. I like to think you making stories with happy endings also gives You a feeling of satisfaction, leaving off these stories on a good note, as opposed to a sour or vague one. It definately gives me that feeling.
I really like this take on Herobrine, but it does get me thinking: If this is what happened, then why in the future does Notch say he never had a brother? Wouldn’t he be adding fuel to the fire? Gotta mention this, you forgot that the new stone blocks aren’t in MC beta, but I’m pretty sure they were intentionally left there. Awesome video!!!! :)
Perhaps, he's saying he "never had a brother" to protect him from people trying to find him and/or hunt him. Herobrine hides from people, and doesn't want people to know he exists
i love the happy ending. i remember years ago being scared of herobrine as a child and this really made him feel real, but in a humanizing beautiful kind of way. in a way it put to rest all my fear of herobrine love your stuff, vibingleaf. i love your unique interpretations of it and the messages you put in them, whether it brings fear or teaches a lesson. thank you.
The ending makes this original. It's such a heartwarming ending. Even If he's in a game, his brother still cares for him. The story here is original too. I like this.
Damn... I didn't really think I would see a fantastically done digital horror-based Herobrine story. Very well done! This actually inspires me to want to finish my new work in progress herobrine datapack, and to try making the video showcase be digital horror/Mandela catalogue based like this!
Seriously, like most people made adaptations of Herobrine being a malevolent entity with hostile intentions, but I truly see him more as an enigmatic ghost from the past, just simply observing players, with unknown intentions and motives. I really love how you interpreted him, and built a whole story based on his origins. I'm definitely gonna tune in for this channel
Yet another masterpiece. I love these remastered and reimagined creepypasta videos you are making. They are so atmospheric. Can’t wait for the reimagined suicide mouse creepypasta because that’s one of my favorite ones but even that can easily be made way better.
I like how I’m this re-telling of your creepypasta stories, there’s somewhat of a running theme. Just like Deadplants, while a lot of the other stories end tragically, the ones with family usually end with clarity and resolve. In Deadplants being a mother wanting to see their child again one final time. And in this, Herobrine only wanting revenge assuming his brother never cares or loved him. With the issue finding resolve in the end. Presumably having Edward possess the game from now on just wanting to live their experience. Even so, it would explain why Notch would add “removed Herobrine” each update, to let him have peace and kill the rumors he still exists. Up until recently of course… But let’s assume Herobrine also left Minecraft after his own departure. It’s honestly reallly sweet. And really really cool, since I grew up with Minecraft and therefor Herobrine was always a special Creepypasta to me. Good job once again VibingLeaf!
3:24 you revived me a Childhood trauma I remember playing on Minecraft Pc Gamer Demo when i had like 9-10 years and hearing zombies in my base wich was in a mountain, so trying to dig down. I remember something very similar to this, if it's not exact, i remember that i just broke blocks backwards me, hidded there and quit the game scared like shit Ik, sounds invented, but i remember it like that lol, anyone with a similar memory?
I found this really cool, because it rappresents the feeling of the Herobrine creepypasta, and its a great way to wrap up the story of how the creepypasta got popular and you added a good ending to the story so that Herobrine and Notch xan finally rest OUTSIDE of Minecraft...
LET'S GOO, vibing, your videos are fantastic! you're such a gift in the analog horror community and we cannot thank you enough for it! astounding work once again, the ending caught me off guard but i should've expected it ^ ^
The fact that you added such a background to a creepypasta that started from an image is just amazing. Making it known again that Herobrine is an actual spirit lost in the game of Minecraft isolated and alone to be driven insane made me reflect a lot on how one can feel once left behind never to be seen again. I never felt such a deep fear watching a remake.

Yeah, and even if something bad happens, the ending is good and human, unlike those creepypastas where the bad guy just kills off everyone then taunts you

Hey vibing leaf, I’m sure you’ll never read this, but I was hoping maybe you could do a retake of an old nostalgic minecraft creepypasta called “Casey’s Cave”? I feel like that story deserves some justice from you as the story for the time was rather well written.
Adding story to the urban legend along with what vibing did with many other legends is ecstatic. I also love that Herobrine and Notch forgave what they did. Being brothers actually do add a lot to the story. Masterpiece, like all the others.
I do love how Vibing leafs re-takes are very scary and yet have nicer endings. I do feel this one was a little to quick to be a happy ending. But other than that it was pretty nice. I do think that not all the stories need closure but if that's what Vibingleaf likes then so be it because they do it well
I love these creepypasta videos ending on a good note instead of it ending with a bad ending or a cliffhanger. I've never been a fan of bad endings so seeing these scary stories have some sort of resolved issue makes it 10x better

i was originally scared of herobrine but i eventually knew he wasnt real, the revisioning of herobrine as someone more human, not a demon looking to scare little kids, thats what i like to see

Even if they take forms that look, a bit spooky. Even if processing the worst of things happens through dumb jokes. I just realized I forgot what I was going to say after that. Got carried away in a thought again, lol

Oh by the Lights... it's 4 in the morning and I'm just watching a bunch of your videos to give my self night terrors, but holy sparks this one made me tear up a bit.
Personally, I think Herobrine/Edward would just want to see Notch and apologize to him. He would teleport to random worlds, crafting pyramids in water, and making 2x2 tunnels through caves, and hiding until he saw the player, then trapping the player in a cave and dissapearing.
This is what I think the story is about: in this world notch (mark) DID have a brother (Edward) that in an point when they where teenagers Edward died in an cave and mark ran away, and for some reason Edward got trapped into a void for years, until the time when mark released his dream game. Apparently Edward know about this and decided to enter into it, after he appeared into a players world to make people know about his existence (the reason is not completely specified but most probably it was for revenge) Making theories spread. Apparently mark have been hearing or knowledge Edward so he enter an weird world (probably made by Edward) where his brother wanted to give him a “gift”, after that we see herobrines face get off and show what is apparently Edwards head after the accident, shortly notch explains whit his brother letting them to become brothers again. This story is excellent and I enjoyed every second of it :D
the only part i would say is "bad" is the end when he says "oh trust me it is optional" not sure why, just makes the ending feel a bit more wrong, but otherwise, this is a story that really made me feel happy in the end and i haven't had that from any other horror story so super amazingly good job!!!
It's kinda tragic for me in a way, but i get what you mean! In my view he spent all those years in a void because he thought his own brother despised him. Having emotional turmoil for ages sounds awful.
Super late to this and i don't have much to say but MAN, I legit enjoyed watching this minecraft/herobrine related video ngl, plus Im a fan of the game in general along with some of the horror that's in it as well, so overall great reimagining of this creepypasta.
The ending was beautiful cause you gave a reason why Herobrine is this way was nice and not only just that the vibe you gave an ending of an era A end of Herobrine Which I know it isn't but that was the vibe you gave and gosh that was very very beautiful nice work
I have a theory. Perhaps the original idea of the Minecraft game belongs to Edward. This could be one of the reasons for his anger and would explain how he got into the game. But this is just a theory. (P.s. You did an excellent job as always! The video is very atmospheric! These are not tears, just nostalgia hit the eye 😥)
herobrine is and always will be a phenomenon even though it’s pretty obvious he wasn’t real it was fun having the mystery of trying to learn who this man is what his goal was and how he got here? i’ve always wondered if herobrine himself is just the unknown. the aching feeling that gives you the thought that someone or something just out of the corner of your eye, is staring right at you. who knows? maybe your just seeing things….or maybe it’s right behind you.
This reminds me, there is another Minecraft arg but with black enderman looking things, the channel is mark101 (also Markus) and that’s probably what gave the idea to this video
Can we just appreciate the reference game here? The original image being remade, Herobrine & Notch being brothers, even the brother dying in a cave in seems to be a reference to the "Disc 11" theory. This is probs my favourite VibingLeaf thus far-

I WAS JUST LOOKING FOR A HEROBRINE ANALOG HORROR, THAT'S PERFECT!
herobrine is and always will be a phenomenon even though it’s pretty obvious he wasn’t real it was fun having the mystery of trying to learn who this man is what his goal was and how he got here? i’ve always wondered if herobrine himself is just the unknown. the aching feeling that gives you the thought that someone or something just out of the corner of your eye, is staring right at you. who knows? maybe your just seeing things….or maybe it’s right behind you.
Me: Minecraft isn't Scary!
Me: *Sees this video*
Me: Now that I think about it...
I love how this creepy video of yours somehow have a happy ending
If mark was using memes skin this will be funny as hell 💀
This was really good, keep it up.
This is probs my favourite VibingLeaf thus far-
i love the heartwarming endings to these horrifying videos
I really love this guys take on classic creepypasta's I would like to see what this guy could do with the NES Godzilla creepypasta
PTSD kicks in 1:02
I love the details with the chicken it’s really cool
Still better than half of the fake Herobrine sightings on RUclips
i like this take on herobrine
not just a generic "oooh i'm dead and evil now" but someone who still loves his brother
