Once all requirements are completed, you have to apply for charter/certification, upon verification- the institute approves and sends the certificate via courier along with an email confirmation. Post getting this confirmation, you can use CMA credentials as prefix, suffix or subtitle.

Hi Anjali, you can start preparing for CMA and appear for exams once ready, the work experience requirement can be submitted after passing both the parts. Also, the work experience gained has no restrictions, it can be prior, simultaneous or after passing the CMA. Institute requires you to submit the work experience within 7 years of passing the CMA exam.

Hi Ruchi, it depends - I would recommend you to go through the curriculum, if you have a decent background in finance, and have a capacity of around 20+ hours to study every week, then you can consider self-study. Hi sir...Got inspired by ur video.....Wanna know more about US CMA...I got 96.4% in 12th CBSE with 98 in economics, 95 in business, accounts and English and 100 in Fine Arts...I am having gud leadership qualities too, as I served as my house captain for 3 yrs. nd in my last year I served as Head Girl of my school, i.e. representative of student council...Recently, I m doing graduation from Kurukshetra University which is NAAC A++ grade University but still in comparison to metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, v will surely lack in career opportunities in future...I m giving exams of my second semester of Bcom recently nd I m worried about my career....I have done DCAA in my 1st year along with bcom i.e. Diploma in Computer Aided Accounting from Hartron Govt. Certified Institute in our area with good reputation...So in that year, I learned Tally ERP 9, Tally Prime, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word...I have all the knowledge of Basic computer...And as our Bcom programme is under New Education Policy nd we have 8 subjects in each semester, I have taken Computer Science as a Multidisciplinary Subject nd hv some knowledge of HTML too...I gave CA Foundation Attempt in Dec 23 too, I scored 200+ but failed in Law, given another attempt in June 24 too, results r not out yet nd I m not so confident as this time new syllabus was there nd I was unable to prepare due to death of my grandma in end days......I m having good communication skills too as I alwazz used to do anchorings in school events nd alwazz win prizes in debate nd declamation competitions at state level events of schools and universities...My Art nd Craft is also gud nd my 100/100 score shows about my creative thinking in that.....I wrote Research Papers for National Magazine of Chandigarh in my 1st year of University too, nd that was also selected, I also received certificate nd all.....I got many prizes from well known persons lyk IAS, MLA, MP, etc many time...but the thing is marks, certificates nd trophies will not matter in every phase of life nd I realized this in my 1st year of college that I have to constantly upgrade myself with changing demand of market...so having soft skills lyk communication, leadership nd technical skills lyk excel, word, PowerPoint, html nd Tally is not sufficient in this fast growing world.....demand for IT industry, Coding, Digital Marketing, Power BI is vry high but the 100% perfection matters....With graduation I wanna do some professional course nd that's why enrolled myself for CA too...but losing hopes after failure in 1st attempt of Foundation nd that's why wanna try something in this type of field with new hope...My dream is same as urs...I wanna do MBA from IIM and wanna get placed in any Big 4 or gud MNC, wanna do foreign tours, build strong network....I really want some guidance...I m having nobody to guide me in commerce field...nd my family is not rich, we r middle class people, so can't afford IIM fee, that's why wanna do some professional course, wanna make my ownself that much strong financially to carry all my IIM expenses myself in future....We can't afford coachings too.....CA, CS, CMA, CFA, US CMA...We have all these but not a easy path...all these r difficult nd need determination...I wanna help my family financially...I m ready to give my best but which is suitable for me??..Bcom is surely not enough to get a good job in this demanding world.....I m getting so much interest in US CMA listening to uuhh, it is having less time duration too nd that's why wanna know much about it...Please share every detail with me nd give some tips to grow in Education nd Career....need ur help..plzz guide...🙏

Hi, yes, you can mention this in your CV. If the interviewer asks, you can tell that the college has allowed you to work as an exception, however, you might need time off only during exams. Regarding US CMA, please mention that you are a US CMA aspirant and you study on weekends to prepare for the course. During the interview, show flexibility around managing expectations, it will help you crack the interview :))
Yes, it is, but what's the point of pursuing US CMA after completing Indian CMA? Fundamentally, both courses are delivering same value and skillset. So, I recommend pursuing US CMA only if you drop out of Indian CMA.

Yes, you do, and in my case - having FRM and CFA L1, I still went for CMA - as it has significant value in the job market.
US CMA has no scope and no job everyone prefer CPA over this

Hi sir, I have one question?I am in London, U.K right now. I have completed my MSC in accounting and business Finance. I am doing the internship in property management company as a account assistant. I want to start CMA. How can I pass the criteria for entering in CMA. Because, I need to show 2 years of experience so could you please give me some suggestions and advice.
Hi Anjali, you can start preparing for CMA and appear for exams once ready, the work experience requirement can be submitted after passing both the parts.
Also, the work experience gained has no restrictions, it can be prior, simultaneous or after passing the CMA.
Institute requires you to submit the work experience within 7 years of passing the CMA exam.

Hi Ruchi, it depends - I would recommend you to go through the curriculum, if you have a decent background in finance, and have a capacity of around 20+ hours to study every week, then you can consider self-study. Otherwise, you can consider joining a class/prep-provider. In case you need access to the curriculum, feel free to drop by in my CMA demo class on weekends.

Hi Tanvi, if you complete CMA in 2024, then you will have 7 years, that is, before 2031, you have to submit total work experience on 2 years to the institute.

Hi Prajakta, yes - membership fee is a recurring expense all US CMA holders have to incur, however, if your organisation/employer recognises this as professional certification, they may opt to cover it for you! :))

Hi sir...Got inspired by ur video.....Wanna know more about US CMA...I got 96.4% in 12th CBSE with 98 in economics, 95 in business, accounts and English and 100 in Fine Arts...I am having gud leadership qualities too, as I served as my house captain for 3 yrs. nd in my last year I served as Head Girl of my school, i.e. representative of student council...Recently, I m doing graduation from Kurukshetra University which is NAAC A++ grade University but still in comparison to metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, v will surely lack in career opportunities in future...I m giving exams of my second semester of Bcom recently nd I m worried about my career....I have done DCAA in my 1st year along with bcom i.e. Diploma in Computer Aided Accounting from Hartron Govt. Certified Institute in our area with good reputation...So in that year, I learned Tally ERP 9, Tally Prime, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word...I have all the knowledge of Basic computer...And as our Bcom programme is under New Education Policy nd we have 8 subjects in each semester, I have taken Computer Science as a Multidisciplinary Subject nd hv some knowledge of HTML too...I gave CA Foundation Attempt in Dec 23 too, I scored 200+ but failed in Law, given another attempt in June 24 too, results r not out yet nd I m not so confident as this time new syllabus was there nd I was unable to prepare due to death of my grandma in end days......I m having good communication skills too as I alwazz used to do anchorings in school events nd alwazz win prizes in debate nd declamation competitions at state level events of schools and universities...My Art nd Craft is also gud nd my 100/100 score shows about my creative thinking in that.....I wrote Research Papers for National Magazine of Chandigarh in my 1st year of University too, nd that was also selected, I also received certificate nd all.....I got many prizes from well known persons lyk IAS, MLA, MP, etc many time...but the thing is marks, certificates nd trophies will not matter in every phase of life nd I realized this in my 1st year of college that I have to constantly upgrade myself with changing demand of market...so having soft skills lyk communication, leadership nd technical skills lyk excel, word, PowerPoint, html nd Tally is not sufficient in this fast growing world.....demand for IT industry, Coding, Digital Marketing, Power BI is vry high but the 100% perfection matters....With graduation I wanna do some professional course nd that's why enrolled myself for CA too...but losing hopes after failure in 1st attempt of Foundation nd that's why wanna try something in this type of field with new hope...My dream is same as urs...I wanna do MBA from IIM and wanna get placed in any Big 4 or gud MNC, wanna do foreign tours, build strong network....I really want some guidance...I m having nobody to guide me in commerce field...nd my family is not rich, we r middle class people, so can't afford IIM fee, that's why wanna do some professional course, wanna make my ownself that much strong financially to carry all my IIM expenses myself in future....We can't afford coachings too.....CA, CS, CMA, CFA, US CMA...We have all these but not a easy path...all these r difficult nd need determination...I wanna help my family financially...I m ready to give my best but which is suitable for me??..Bcom is surely not enough to get a good job in this demanding world.....I m getting so much interest in US CMA listening to uuhh, it is having less time duration too nd that's why wanna know much about it...Please share every detail with me nd give some tips to grow in Education nd Career....need ur help..plzz guide...🙏

If the interviewer asks, you can tell that the college has allowed you to work as an exception, however, you might need time off only during exams.
Regarding US CMA, please mention that you are a US CMA aspirant and you study on weekends to prepare for the course.
During the interview, show flexibility around managing expectations, it will help you crack the interview :))

Yes, it is, but what's the point of pursuing US CMA after completing Indian CMA? Fundamentally, both courses are delivering same value and skillset. So, I recommend pursuing US CMA only if you drop out of Indian CMA.
