What's that half arrow
I was wondering the same then I figured it out myself. That half arrow means mute. You slightly lift your fingers a bit away from the strings so they will sound like that in the video
@@MikePN2908 I was thinking that, thank you for confirming. What about something like the A chord where the smallest string is an open string? Do you just try to mute it?
Nevermind there is no open string for this a chord, my bad😭
@@ethantong8411 no the smallest string in the A chord is indeed open. and you gotta mute that along the other strings as well or it will sound bad

The G cord sounds completely Diffrent
Because it's up two fret's it's played like a "Power Chord"
