The wife and I have booked trips with Brad in the spring and fall for the last three seasons. We've never been disappointed and yes we are planning to make it four in a row this spring/fall. Great video guys!
Gottalove that greasy drayton launch! Been stuck there hopelessly a few times.
Caught the state record over 20 years ago. Caught some nice ones there last weekend
wise ass what you use for bait?
You need to come up to Lockport there, those catfish were tiny compared to the ones we get out here, when your using fresh chopped up goldeye, your catching anywhere from 5-10 35+ an hour with a buddy about 500m from the locks
+Dirtyyy Jooeman we would love to get up there. Thanks for the view👍
all u need is nightcrawlers i catch catfish like on first cast im in ND as well trust me
+LikeXxDJProxX YT for sure and they probably catch more fish. We stay away from them just because we catch so many small fish, carp and goldeye. We find that the cutbait gets rid of some of the other fish when we are just trying to catch big catfish.👍
I love these videos Jason especially these catfish videos, have to you ever tried doing a episode on fishing Flathead Catfish?
Man I remember when me and my dad would go to the red river and catching these monsters I remember as a kid I was almost pulled in as a kid pulling up a 40 lber
Love seeing those trophy catfish I'vI'caught some big channel cats here.
Thanks for watching!
The big ones surface faster behind the boat because they cause more drag in that current causing them to rise faster than those littler guys who can kind of streamline through that current still being skinny and light
great video 🐡👍💯💯💯
What are those rod/reel make , those are nice?
Love the video. Quick question. Been fishing the Red south of Grand Forks for 12 years, but now I'm moving to Fargo. Is there public access fishing nearby? I do not have a boat and am unsure on the rules for the town. Any info is appreciated. Great video, had to like as well.
There is good shore fishing below some of the dams and people catch a lot of nice catfish from shore.
big ones on raw shrimp i here is good ive caught them on liver, baitfish, and worms
Good options!
is this Dam located in the grand forks or Drayton area? Thanks
Drayton
Sam Goodman I'm going to have to check this spot out this spring before the spawn. I usually Fish for cats in Fargo, but I find the further out of town I get the bigger the catfish get.
tractboy34 yes it is, I live near it and I wanna fish there real bad
What's the biggest cat you've caught in red river
Where would I find those teardrop scent holders? I have looked online and cannot find a place that carries them. Thanks!
Little Stinker makes them and they are packaged with a snap swivel and treble hook but we exchanged the treble for a circle hook.
