- Just before Christmas I got married. Two weeks ago I posed a picture on Instagram of the wedding. While most was positive, the backlash of homophobic abuse was pretty unreal. From Lawyers, accountants and university professors ... it was shocking. 3000 followers lost and my mind left reeling from the things I read.
We all have different backgrounds, different families, different beliefs, different religions but we also have free will. There is a difference between disagreeing with something and posting HATE and THREATS.
This comment section is open. If you see hate, ignore it. Don't get into debate. It does nothing. Allow the light to shine on it. Lets daylight deal with it.

Wayne, I just happened to walk in the room as my wife was watching this vid, and I recognized you because she often watches you on RUclips, and I was horrified to hear the abuse you have suffered and endured since getting married. I am trying to wrap my head around what kind of person would feel compelled, much less entitled, to spew their ignorance and, well, hatred, but I simply cannot understand it. (My wife wasn't a subscriber because she wasn't using a Premium account, so I immediately logged on a subscribed to your channel, in a show of support.) I have seen your vids over a long period of time, and my wife loves the advice and tips you give. I have seen you to be a genuinely likable guy. Period. That's all that matters, Wayne. As someone who considers herself a conservative Christian, I hate that this happened to you. You have always been so so kind and your content is excellent. And this video just proves what a generous spirit you have.
I agree. I am too a conservative devout Christian. I'm so sad to see this behavior, especially from those who call themselves Christians.
I've been watching Wayne for a year, I've always known he was gay. While I don't agree with his lifestyle, he is a true gentleman. He also didn't force-feed his private life to his viewers. I do not disagree with the lifestyle, especially when it is forced on our children (I will fight in a loving way against that). But, what good came out of all that vitriol and hate? Jesus called us to love others, share the gospel of salvation, and do good works. We are to be a credit to Him. We also are to let the Holy Spirit do His job to convict hearts toward repentance.
I hope Wayne will realize true Christians don't engage in that type of behavior.

There are so many things that I could say to slam these haters, but then I don’t believe that I would be any different than them. But I will say this, as a single mother to a special needs child, and a recovering alcoholic and addict (with five years clean and sober now) there have been days where I really didn’t feel good enough to enter the world or exit my home. And thanks to a couple of incredible people, you Mr. Goss and Nikkia Joy are the first two names that came to mind, you gave me the confidence in proper application of makeup, quality products that have mostly been purchased through second hand resources, to do my makeup and in turn, feel good enough to walk out that door and face the day! You are helping people every day! You are a wonderful man! Many of us women wish you weren’t gay just so we had a chance, lol. Just kidding. But my only thoughts when you shared that you were married was just pure happiness and joy for you both! Ignore the haters. I love that you still have enough respect for those who don’t believe what you believe, but if they don’t reciprocate that respect, boot them out of your life! It’s the downside of social media. I happened to read your comment to Wayne Goss that you wrote 6 months ago. CONGRATULATIONS on being clean and sober! I’ve been sober for 21 years. I sobered up when my granddaughter was born because I wanted to take care of her. She made it sort of easy. Nikkia Joy is such a DARLING! I used to watch her! Did they ever get married? Lolol I don’t know how old you are but I also watch Nikol Johnson. She’s about 50 and does makeup for women a little older. But she’s very positive and collects vintage designer clothing. There’s a wonderful dermatologist I watch, too. She’s in Houston. Her name is Dr. Dray. She’s extremely thin but it’s because she runs marathons. She isn’t anorexic.trust me. And she is a walking text book about skincare! She’s FABULOUS! Her first name is Andrea. I think there is one other person I like but can’t think right now. Anyway, check these out. My brother used to be bullied in high school because he’s gay. My brother knew he was gay since the age of 10. He told me once when we were younger, if there was a magic button I can push to go on your side, don’t you think I would push it? Do you think I want to be bullied? It broke me in half when he told me this…So sad we live in a world of ignorance. Thankfully he found the one who changed his life and they’ve been together for 25 years! I’m so happy for you Wayne. I will never ever understand why people feel the need to hate on people cus of their sexuality. Like why do they care? I don’t care about other people’s sexuality, if people are happy then that makes me happy too, why hate? I don’t understand it.
I am a 25 years old gay man and I got disowned by my family two weeks ago. It's heart breaking to know that the people I love so much turned their back on me for who I am. I am grateful for people like you. You make me feel that there is still hope for me to be happy, you keep me strong.

As a Catholic myself, I notice the major differences in all the groups labeled Christians, we are all very different.
The Catholic Church does not support "same sex marriage" but doesn't hate gay people either.

This broke my heart, Wayne. It is so obvious to see the pain and hurt this has caused you. I just can not understand the hatred and viciousness. As a family, over a few years, we gave a home to three beautiful young people when their families kicked them out to the streets as young teens because they were gay. I am a conservative person. Have been following you for years! Not just following but absolutely adoring you for who you are: a kind man, with so much knowledge and passion for my favorite thing in the world: beauty.
I put dollar by dollar aside to get your makeup brushes. When I got them 2 years ago, I was so happy, so satisfied. Until today, washing and cleaning those brushes are a ritual to me, one because they are absolutely the best, two because your name is on them.
As I mentioned, I am a conservative woman, who doesn’t understand the idea of gay marriage, however, not understanding something does not give people rights to judge or abuse someone.
You are Wayne, one of the most compassionate people I know. I don’t need any other reasons to love and care for you. I am wondering, out of a place curiosity not judgement, what is it that you don't understand about gay marriage?
I don’t want to get into it. This a room for Wayne to shine and feel supported. My personal reasons on the subject are of no concern for anyone who is here for him. That’s the whole point I was trying to make. It doesn’t matter. I don’t matter, my voice doesn’t matter. In the world full of opinions from extremely narcissistic individuals, we need some of us to rise and say, “what I think on the matter is nobody’s business, I don’t have to have to have an opinion nor should I voice it”. For the sake of restoration of humility and love, it matters more to stay quiet.
Then why put your opinion in there in the first place? If you wanted it to be about Wayne then there was no reason at all to voice the fact that you don't understand two people getting married. I was genuinely interested in your voice but you, after clearly stating your opinion, refuse to engage in a polite discussion. You say individual voices don't matter, but they do matter, individual voices are what make the whole.

I don’t understand hate. It hurts me to think that another could have hate in their heart for another human being, unless they had done something horrifically evil. Hate is a strong emotion, and shows more about the person expressing it, than who it’s aimed at. Im sorry you both had to deal with that after such a joyous time in your lives.
