Loving the new and improved, unapologetic and straight to the point Chris Gore.
Aye, same here. Life is too to not be, reckon he figured that out given his scare.
46:00 Pardon the long-ish post, but this is important and much larger than Chris touches on here. In the early 1900s, advertisers realized they got better results trying to provoke emotional responses than providing rational arguments for their products. Then politicians realized they could do the same thing with mass media to shape voter sentiment. Since then, the public has been bombarded with appeals to emotion in every form of media non-stop.
The problem is a well-known psychological phenomenon: every time a person is subject to attempts to provoke emotional response in place of a rational decision, even if they resist, it makes them more prone to react on emotion in the future. Every time they are made to flex that emotional part of the brain, those pathways are reinforced. We have literally trained people from birth to be emotional and irrational.
Social media dramatically accelerated this process since the most popular sites are literally designed to prompt unthinking, emotional responses (those being the things most likely to "go viral"). And then a certain event 8 years ago, and the extreme reactions to it by unscrupulous politicians, pushed many of the so-primed people over the edge. Many of them have quite simply lost contact with reality because they were trained to obey emotional demands and accept beliefs that conflict with a rational view of reality. Everything is considered only by the emotions attached to the thing, regardless of any facts that might contradict the emotional conclusion reached. Simply put, it is a form of insanity, and those who want us controlled want more of the insane.
The solution is not to play. Control emotions, judge widely, and relaaaaaaax.
Exactly!
I'll never petdon you!
Unlike Tolkien, George couldn't be arsed to do some actual worldbuilding (beyond the bare minimum). He pretty much had checked out of Star Wars by 1983 (probably even sooner). He let others write semi-official, clunky fan-fiction - ranging from mediocre to really bad - that in their sum completely screwed the "lore". George's additions with the prequels weren't helping, either.
As a result, we got bullshit plot-armor devices, like Ysalamir (or whatever those were called) and highly specific and convenient one-trick metals. It turned Star Wars into a damned RPG.
And to add insult to injury, an order that existed "for over a thousand generations" has apparently never heard about that type of armor, nor learned how to deal with it.
If he catches Vanestras whip on his bracer, or Vanestra stops him killing someone by whipping his forearm, imma lose my shit.
Star wars is dead
And marvel
Indeed
Damn you, Disney! Damn you all to hell!
'Nuff said
Mike from red letter was nearly brought to tears talking about his star trek getting destroyed while back
Red Letter Media's holier-than-thou attitude has always been obnoxious.
25:00 It's not really the Parent Trap. It's Escape from Lesbo Mountain 😂
1:02:53 Their ideology views attractiveness and attraction as exercises of privilege/power, they're ideologically opposed to biological attraction.
Mr. Sith? Nah.
Agent Sith?
if you have to tear down a popular character to make your character look good, you are a terrible writer, and you have created a terrible character.
Dave’s comics in Royal is the OG best shop in Detroit back in the day, got driven out to build a giant urban outfitters
52:28 heck yeah listening at work. Hail!!
Ryan can't save Star Wars because he likes that Clone Wars garbage and that's where the rot started.
Audiotechnica ---- for a decent vinyl player
The first video were I gave my first super chat hope to not make a habit of it I love my money.
Reva cut a womans hand off.
Did I stroke out for a minute?
"There are four of us" 😂
1:09:25 I'm sorry but that was not accidently 💀 I love how they want to make the effing dance like some kind of accidental thing 🙃 both sides wanted to end eachother, that's why I'm not into this stupid show. Aemond did what he did and Daemon did what he did. Remember when in GOT characters actually did good and bad stuff?? Remember the red wedding?? Those where unapollegetic actions and not this stupidity "accidents" 🙄
45:50 it’s satanic
There was a few tracks on the Strokes second album that werent bad. 12.51 was good. But yeah, their sound was of a particular time. Early 2000s, and it was a nice sound.
The metal is called cortosis, his helmet and gauntlet are made from it
First time seeing that "More of us" pr video.. bleh. 🤢 That was so phoney saccharine ya just wanna puke..
People are praising Acolyte episode V tho. Nerdrotic review of episode IV was very on point and Funny 😂
The Gaycolyte
Red letter people are shills not worth the time. I watch Gary for not being a shill.
Great stream. Sorry I missed it. I'll give a new "Acolyte" a go. But after hearing John Campea's review and decision to be done with "The Acolyte" for good. I decided to do two things after watching a new "Acolyte": rebinge season one of "Andor" and then take a break from live-action DSW until the latter show's season two premiere. Keep up the good work!
Why did you apologise for missing the stream…
the most boomer stream yet
Which is a challenging thing to do with 2 Gen-Xer's.
Stop confusing Boomer and Gen X. Not the same.
@@thefilmcage8167 both are what, 3 years off of boomers? no audio or tech capabilities qualifies them
The most cringe comment yet.
Will your brain malfunction since I'm a millennial?

The power of lesbian intersectional feminisms!
Respect for legacy characters in Star Trek Picard season 3. Crazy eh? Weird how it was objectively the best season.
That wasn't a particular high bar to make, as seasons 1 and 2 are down in the Mariannas trench. What was amazing how much Matalas managed to pull it back up to the surface and how much love there still was from more fans then I thought possible after a decade and a half of Jar Jar and Kurtzman Trek.
@@ChaptermasterPedroKantor-kv5yw Agreed, S1 & S2 were an insult to the memory of TNG.
More of us!!! more of us!!!gooble gobble gooble gobble we accept you one of us!!!
Ok...Q for people in the comments...where's the best place to find Star Wars fanfiction? I'm a normie wanting to dip my toes in...
Doctor Who's The Enemy Of The World is the greatest version of The Parent Trap ever made.
Why didn't he use The Thread to pull the light off his back?
I could see Lesbian Headlamp make asian ezra miller Darth Plagueis, meaning the reason he is interested in the twins is because they were conceived through the force/thread.
All of classic Samurai films is beating all of Star Wars. Lone Wolf & Cub manga & 6 film series is too good.
Cool, thanks for reminding me Disney. I did need to remove, “Master and Apprentice” from the DisWars books I tolerate.
We’re back to just two: Twilight Company and Tarkin.
Ultimately a boring book that just retreads plot points and character arcs from the superior EU Jedi Apprentice book series with padwan Obi-Wan. It’s also a sequel to the Disney Kenobi book where the entire product was created just to officially make Obi-Wan gay…yeah I’m good you can have Disney Wars’ corpse.
People always say CoD lobbies were bad, they’re choir school compared to the Halo 2 lobbies. They were fucking terrible.
I miss those days
