Difference with Crash Bash was that it was a party game so having different playable characters with some being villains was a given, especially since the only "heroes" there were Crash and Coco and arguably N Brio from 2 (why wasn't he teamed up with the bandicoots and why were dingo and tiny the ones). Never would I have thought we'd have the non major villains (so not Cortez and Nina) be actually playable in a normal platformer game, but I'm really happy that it's happening.

It's looking amazing and no micros for those skins...what??? Yes! Old school ways of unlocking things within in-game challenges but brought into the modern day...if only more games was doing this.
It sounds like there won't be any microtransactions by they lied before. Before the release of the new crash racing game they said that there be no microtransactions but added them later on

Check out Risk of Rain 2 for another challenging game that rewards playing it, to unlock new characters items and skins. Just a fair warning though, it is a rougelite.

I wasn't expecting playable Dingodile, of all characters, maybe Crunch or a re- introduction of Nina... but honestly, I'm cool with him- it's a fresh angle that opens up new approaches to gameplay, so I'm down with the 'dile.
Crunch doesn't exist in this universe......

@@Murillos1 The Wrath of Cortex is titled as "Crash 4" in Japan, and Twinsanity is titled as "Crash 5", also in Japan! But only there tho, cause some games & shows going there are changed in the certain ways (like Art style n stuff) to suit the audiences! Sonic games and Crash Bandicoot games are an Example of that!
So i can say that Wrath of Cortex is Crash 4 on 1 country oficially, but not the whole world!

Honestly, MTX is the reason why I don't see myself buying CTR: Nitro Fueled in the foreseeable future. And I was planning on having the holy trinity of kart racers on Switch in Mario, Sonic and Crash...
No microtransactions should be a standard, not a feature. But I'm glad they're learning their lesson. :P
It's not a feature, they mentioned it because otherwise people would have automatically assumed it was gonna be microtransactions.
It's Activision just wait a couple of months after release they're going add a whole bunch of micro transactions
yeah, "no microtransactions" coming from activision should mean nothing at this point
People kept spreading fake news that Crash 4 had microtransactions because the Xbox store automatically lists any game with DLC as having in-app purchases so they had to address this. (The Totally Tubular preorder bonus skins are what triggered that on the Xbox store.)
If game is f2p, it can have micro transaction that doesn’t give competitive advantage. If the game is p2p, them there should be no micro transactions.
And then there comes EA.
I hope Tiny Tiger is in this game. He was always my favorite character from the PS1 games

I'm so hyped for this game. It feels like both a return to form, while at the same time adding new and exciting elements. It sort of reminds me of what Mario Odyssey did for the collecathon Mario.

They need to add Nina and Crunch in this game, they were two very iconic characters.
And they need to add Joe, Moe, Koala Kong, Tiny Tiger, Ripper Roo, N.Brio, Pinstripe Potoroo and Papu Papu in this game too
Possibly sure or not, but I think Crunch won't happen since he was a creation by Cortex in The Wrath of Cortex. The Wrath of Cortex never happened in this timeline, so I don't think he exists or he is not there. Nina could make an appearance.

this looks legitimately phenomenal. like, an incredibly fresh take on the 3D platformer. That black n white colour splash mode thing looked gorgeous.

I feel like Cortex's best design/overall look is his appearances in N-Sane-Trillogy, then Twinsanity at 2nd, and then It's About Time 3rd. I just feel like he looks a little similar to the Crash of the Titans Cortex here. . . * shivers *
