You’re a very good teacher, this is the first one I’ve been able to understand….I couldn’t make head nor tail of the others I’ve watched, thanks……🏴
What a great looking soap saver. 🤗 I live in FLA and it's w-a-y too hot from May to October to work on large projects...or with wool or even acrylic yarns...so, in the summer months I work on soap sacks for the shelters. This has a nice masculine look to it...very tailored. Thank you for the tutorial. 😉
Many many thanks for sharing this! This is pretty and easy for my volunteer project!
thank you so much for this great tutorial! for some reason, i've had such a hard time following other soap saver tutorials, but you made it so simple to understand :) this is a gift for a friend and it turned out wonderfully
I’m totally going to use this to make a handbag! I love it!!
I have been making these as gifts, but was not happy with the different stitches I used. A half double crochet is the perfect solution.
I love these bags.making one for a friend. Thanks cluadette
WOW CLAUĎETTA....A SUUUPER EASY PEASY PROJECT .....THANK U 4 THE TUTORIAL👍👍👍👍👍👍
Your voice is so soothing! Thanks for this easy tutorial:)
I’ve been trying to make one for weeks and this was the first video I was successful with. Very excited to subscribe to this channel and learn more! God Bless
Thank you so much for the tutorial! Super helpful and easy!
Thank you for a great pattern. Mine came out great.
Thank you so so much honey. It’s mums birthday tomorrow so I just stayed up all night to make this. Now the birds are awake lol 💙💚🤍❤️
Just made one. Easy to customize. Thank you!
This is a fantastic video. Really easy even for a beginner and I made it super quickly!
I just made one of these ! I couldn't figure out why mine looked so different than yours, and then I figured it out. You were actually going thru the third loop, not the back loop. When I used the third loop, it looked like yours.
The way this was posted on my birthday. Def needed. I bought a soap saver from amazon. But one side is thicker than the other and I don’t like that. I’m just now getting into crochet and sustainability a lot more now. So I’m excited
This is a much easier tutorial to do than some of the others, cannot wait to try.
I love your tutorials! Thank you. ❤
Great tutorial - very easy to follow. For some reason my 'lines' of the pattern ended up on the inside - but no drama - just turned it inside out at the end lol. I am a leftie tho so sometimes odd things happen when I crochet haha.
It's so easy way to crochet . Thanks :)
Thank you so much! I made one and love it! One side is longer than the other, but when I put the chain on, I dropped down one row. 🙂
Maybe I missed a step, but I still love it!
When you go through the back loop only, are you going through a different loop behind the two loops of each stitch, because your finished product is showing the front & back loops of each stitch.
That's what I was thinking too!!! She started the video doing back loop but I think went back and did the "back bump"
Was thinking about this! But sadly I noticed it when I have already finished. I think she crocheted behind the back loop. 😥
My question too - I like the look of the finished one with the horizontal v’s going across, but at the start (before she skips to putting the soap in) there’s only half a leg on the v’s which is what I got. Would love to know how to get full v’s.
@@joyboath6901 you would get the full v's by going through both loops. Since she only went through the back loop only, that's why it looks like half a V. Hope this helps 😊
@@joyboath6901 she went underneath behind the back loop, into the small loop on the left
Thank you so much, this is what I was looking for!
Thank you so much for this awesome video ! Are you using the same type of yarn for dishcloth or are you using a softer cotton yarn ? Thank you !
Can’t wait to do this. Thanks!
thank you!
I need to make a bu-ZUNCH of these!!!! Thank you Claudetta🤍💚💛❤💜💗
Wondering why you go only in the back loop for the hdc?
how tall did you make it? i don’t have a bar of soap, just looking for reference
Amei❤🇧🇷
If I crochet into the back loop only I get a ridge all the way round as you have at the bottom. You have not done this all the way up as you do not have a single ridge all the way up. It looks as though you have crocheted into the back posts to obtain the double ridge!!!
@@gaynorspalding2370 looks like she did camel stitch actually. I had the same confusion
I have LOTS of polyester yarns. So soft..I hate to go buy MORE YARN?.
I LOVE THESE!!!! 🤷♀️🤟🙏🧶🧶
the finished saver on the tutuorial does not match the stitch you are telling us to do in the tutorial. when you do the back looks only it does not look like yours
I commented the same thing. She says she's using the back loop, but I made it with the hdc in the back loop, but mine just doesn't looks like hers. I figured that she was in fact using the 3td loop. It then looks like hers.
2 half double crochets? You went way too fast. You lost me.
