GPU errors can have different causes, such as overheating, corrupt system files, faulty game files, overclocking, outdated drivers, or physical damages
I use it with an Xbox Series X and it works. There is a second smaller button near the power button on the bottom of the screen. Push that and you should switch over to the HDMI input source. Be warned though. The screen dims after a bit. I haven't figured out how to turn that off.

Can you upgrade the GPU for gaming/engineering simulation programs?
