I saw DTP May 4th last year. Best show I've been to. It was in a small club in Ohio. This song has the most epic sound of his whole set. Amazing solo and the most outstanding chorus. I would do it again in a heart beat
I thought nothing could be more epic than Epicloud but Transcendence just totally blew my mind. I wasn't expecting much which caused me to freak out even more. Such a brilliant songwriting, unbelievable atmosphere, pure beauty. Devy is the man. Forever gonna love his work
Had the privilege of seeing this live at the regency ballroom in sf it was as more big and epic than I could imagine live. Had work early the next day I regret nothing lol.
Can't help but being distracted by Dev's continually pulling his left leg upwards while singing. It makes me want to interfere and put a little stool in front of him. I heard him saying in some interviews how he found more demanding to sing intense passages when they stopped using monitors at stage so he couldn't "push" his voice with the left foot against the monitor. Maybe he could use a "fake" monitor to make it easier, like some other bands do. In spite of this, amazing performance as always!
usually he uses a "fake" monitor to put his left foot on, that has a speaker directed at the audience to make up for the missing stage monitor sound you normally hear when your're in the first row. he doesn't seem to have that on this festival run, don't know why...
I met Devin and suggested he rename his band to "Devin and the Devinettes". He said he'd think about it.
