What a great way to learn. Your style, method, personality and approach are absolutely excellent. Not only you've got a talent, you also know how to share with. I'm totally stoked.

You would be surprised how many latino business owners in California, Oregon don't speak english. I'm trying to get them a covid tax credit and there is a language barrier. Of course, I remember a British women living in Barcelona who refused to learn or speak Spanish, which do you think is rude?
I'm sure I would be surprised 😯 I think there are many personal circumstances that can lead to all those situations, but in my personal opinion everybody should at least try and learn the language of the place they are living. I guess it is kind of rude to refuse to learn the language, but since there are many personal circumstances that each person might be facing, I wouldn't judge anybody 🙏🏼
@@holamydailyspanish I went all over Europe and was super embarrassed to speak English. I can't imagine trying to live in a place "full time" and not try to fit in with the local language, let alone owning a business.
When I was in Seville, I was hanging with these Germans. They say in college when 2 guys don't get along, there is a culture of dueling where they scar each other in the face with eye protection. Could be true! We drank lots of alcohol of course.
When I was in Spain in April I got put on the spot in one of the hospitals because The Girl spoke to me in Spanish and Then in english.Ask me, did I know what she was saying? And I says of course, but what was the idea of that and she said, well?I heard you outside practising so I was just testing you out.She said I'm not Spanish.I'm english.lol.Then Grainne the next day hurt her knee, went to the clinic, they didn't speak English, but the doctor, did but enjoyed testing it. out,its great when you can try it out on a spanish person I think they appreciate you trying.I was asked was I hot, I said caliente,in stead of calor, that got a few laughts,I think it means horny, lol,or hot in a different way.
So sorry you had to visit the hospital during your stay in Spain :( At least you got to practice in a safe environment, as the doctor spoke both languages. Trying to speak a language is the best way to learn, so keep on practicing whenever you can 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 (And yes, "caliente" for a person is "horny". "I am hot" is "Tengo calor". "It's hot" = Hace calor. 😄
Yes,that nurse was in convulsions, the lady doctor was trying to keep a straight face. She had me in convulsions.I was telling Grainne, caliente, hot,no even worse, horny. Oh my god.

Odd question here. In greetings such as buenos dias, buenas tardes, etc. Why is the plural used?
