So would i need more than one pieces of said root if i need to use it for other purposes ? The piece used for the oil should stay in the oil right? Can i take that same piece out when the oil is done and use it for other uses?

I have use high John for multiple uses at once or should it be set for one intention per root?
You can use it for multiple purposes, so one root is sufficient 😉.. unless you want to add one to your oil and leave it inside.

I've only got dragon's blood incense; hard to get stuff in this parish.
If it's the resin incense, that's the same thing. If just stick incense, burn it and waft the smoke over the oil to get the vibes.
