They do have a counter by the gift shop with salads and coffee drinks, but I felt like that part didn't fit in this video. I got the chicken salad with a cappuccino. It was delicious!
derek brother, your buffet videos are really the only good ones out there say hi to Matthews cool but the rest don't seem the same my friend your passion and attention to detail is much appreciated
Hey Derek! I know you are writer but I am curious about what type of writer you are ( sitcoms, novels, magazines, cookbook etc). Would you make a little (or long) video about yourself? Aloha! 🌺
Thanks for letting us know you have a 2nd channel, this was a good video. I grew up with Walt Disney (when he was still alive) and admired him very much, more so as the years went by. He was an amazing visionary, urging us into the future and technology that awaited us. So I found your museum tour interesting, good find.
This museum should be located in Burbank, CA and not San Francisco, but I understand that Walt’s daughter had a connection to SF. The true history of Disney is in Burbank where it all started for Walt Disney Productions which is now the Walt Disney Company.Walt wanted to build Disneyland in Burbank, but there wasn’t enough room, so he went down to the orange groves of Orange County which is now Anaheim.
I wonder why the Disney Museum is in San Francisco? Walt Disney was born in Chicago, Illinois and he worked in his studio located in Burbank, California. I'm not sure how San Francisco was decided on as the location of the museum.
@@vegasvan2000 💗 I was hoping a Disney Fan would reply 😃 I read your comment and Googled "Walt Disney's children" and it looks like Diane Marie Disney-Miller is Walt's only biological child, his other daughter Sharon Mae Disney was adopted. Diane co-founded the Disney Museum Derek visited. Diane was born in Los Angeles where she grew up and lived until 1976 when she and her husband moved to Napa, CA to get involved in the winery business (they started making wine in 1981). I feel whomever Diane co-founded the museum with, was probably the one who suggested San Francisco as the museum's location but I couldn't find the name(s) of the other co-founders. Diane died in 2013 (age 79) from medical complications after a fall. She was buried at Forest Lawn in Glendale, CA where Walt Disney's ashes are also located. * I didn't know Walt Disney was cremated, I assumed he was buried 😜
Derek - that expression of Yours at the cover of the video is such a beauty!
Thanks, Petr!

I hope you're doing some food video's while you're up there in San Fran
Never say "San Fran"
Why is that?
@@BigMacMick you must not live there. Or never say "Frisco"
I'm in the UK so i'm unaware of things like that :)
@@BigMacMick It's fine. Those people in San Francisco can be very sensitive.

I wondered that myself!
I think his daughter started the Disney Family Foundation and lives in Northern California
