I think people are just offended at wondering why Jesus didn’t stop the bad and just let it happen.
While I agree with not taking offense because it still the word out of our heart it’s also important for a lot of these churches that may cause the offense in others not to cause the sheep to stumble I’ve seen preachers on the pulpit say offensive things that were not godly at all and they were unapologetic and caused offense with in people it’s important as Christian people to repent to one another when we’ve done something wrong and I’ve seen some preachers not do that then the following Sunday they would be praying for seats to be filled after they ran off faithful members it’s important to remember to walk humbly with our god and when you make a mistake admit to it
I think Andrew's Romans teaching touched on that today.

I admit, every time I see an ad for information from a Christian site and go there to get the information and am Given an Ad to Buy the information and the information is not given - a Trap Stick is given... I feel enormous Hurt - like being Slapped in the Face and Shammed because I don't have the money buy information or the Word of God; I'm not a mouse in need of a trap. I'm a person in need of help and love. It hurts constantly because I am constantly running into more Traps set by those who call themselves "christians". I'm not surrounded by ANY Christians - none. I don't know any real ones close to where I live. I've searched and found none. Find someone? How - when you are isolated?

Just read yr comment and the Lord prompted me to write to you...
I live in Germany and have very few believers who are one with me in spirit and truth...
I live by myself, But I have Jesus - I'm never alone, hallelujah - HE is with me 24/7.
The best thing is, if somebody (that includes a Christian ad or whoever offers something for free) and don't keep their promises - forgive them - let it go - just like pastor Duane has mentioned. They have to answer for that, we have to answer for what we do or don't do.
Just decide to let that offense ge. Pastor Duane mentioned you can watch that further study on his website for free. Check that out - I know I will.

I know, because I am watching it a lot. It's great, helps you to stay focused on Jesus, especially during times like these, and helps you to grow in the Lord and stay positive.

Jesus loves you and doesn't want you to be isolated - be encouraged in Jesus - I know, HE never leaves us nor for sake us.

Why would you want talk to someone about offense that they intended? Surely it would be better to talk to God about it?
FYI...Offense - emphasis on 'off' - is what sports teams play. Offense - emphasis on 'ense' - is the correct pronunciation of the word that is the subject of this teaching. We don't say OFFended. We say offENDED. The emphasis is on the same syllable when we say the word offENSE in this context and by this definition of the word.
I'm not offended at Duane's repeated mispronounciation of the word offense. Just a friendly grammatical PSA. 😉🙂
