- This week's theme is jails and prisons. This is the theme song from the 1960s Patrick McGoohan TV show "The Prisoner". It was written by Ron Grainer. The uke is tuned ACEA for this.

Absolutely brilliant version of Ron Grainer's masterpiece. Thank you.
among all the Prisoner interpretations to be found on RUclips, IMO this is the cleanest and nicest one.
Excellent version!!!
You brought out and clarified the elements in this piece and gave it another layer of life. Very inspiring and nostalgic! Be seeing you!
You nailed this one Jim. It is a shame that they don't make great theme songs for TV shows anymore. Not that I watch much TV nowadays.
Superb. What a pleasure!
OMG- this was my favorite show back in the day. Wonderful choice- so happy you brought this one this week.
Love what you've done with this sound.

Fantastic!
What a brilliant rendition of the best ever TV theme tune!
Oh my! I was fanatical about this series, and this song, when I was a kid. This was amazing, thanks for bringing it to the Season! Be seeing you!
Awesome cover. What a great tune and sound. Could you try some music from gotchaman by Bob sakuma? Ie. Red illusion, emblem G etc.
Love it! Fantastic rendition of my favorite TV show's theme song.
Brilliante'! Bravo!
This is a great catch and wonderfully played as always.
If I were to attempt to follow in your footsteps I could spend another entire lifetime trying to play half as well as you.
Yesssss! I love it Jim. I had my eye on the end theme as a possibility for this season. Great job! Just super.
Fantastic arrangement Jim. Bloody crazy finger work. I hope you can get around to tabbing this out sometime. I would love to attempt it. I remember watching this in syndication as a teen. Crazy good stuff.
Cool and harsh! Great sound. Good going'!
2 minutes is not enough..
🍸🚬
What does everyone think of the last series,?
I never saw it. I'd forgotten they'd done a remake until you mentioned it. Did you like it?
I wouldn't rush out and buy the new series on box set put it like that. My father was heavily influenced by the original series so I saw them all when i would wake him up at 7 on a sunday morning and he had a hangover. The first series is just a masterclass in sixties ways of thinking fashion ways of production. The new series is just weird for the sake of it though. If you manage to catch a snip its interesting in the way way the two series differ.
Just watch the original series, forget everything else.
