If you have the ability, go to an Indian shop, they’re usually smaller than the Asian markets you see, and get something called kurkure lmao, they’re like overpowered cheetos

@@marensanel4546 You can do sooo much! Mainly it’s used for cooking and sautéing but I’ve seen it used in salad dressings or different types of sauces! Possibilities are endless, it’s amazing and tastes so good!💗

U can't just do that
You can always tell what kind of Asian someone is by what kind of staple ingredients they have. I’m born and raised in America but my grandma grew up in Japan and Korea so we always have sushi rice, kikoman brand soy sauce, sake, mirin and Korean seasoning pastes but I have Chinese friends who always use lee kum kee products and standard white rice and a Thai/Singaporean friend who can taste the differences between different brands of fish sauce.
I love how it sounds when she switches languages so fast when reading the bottles n stuff.

Usually, if someone searches enough, they’d be able to find those really small orential stores that shouldn’t be too hard to find. We have one here, and it’s saved us plenty of time from having to drive two hours away at least once in three months to grab any Asian cooking necessities. If there isn’t one in your area you could just go to a few commissaries because there’s bound to be a few Asian products and foods there! Usually it’s only the really basic stuff though, like sesame oil, noodles, udon, miso mix, and a few others.
I love cooking so don’t mind my comment. When it comes to food I just get really passionate.

An absolute lifesaver. The Asian grocery sections near me SUCK so I've been using Weeee. The delivery driver is always delighted this black girl loves Asian cuisine ❤ he brings me a extra Ramune for free and im babbling but he's such a great guy 🤣 we don't know the same language but food bridges the gap

Im not asian by the way but when i shop for it i usually get the snacks they have like those bear cookies filled with chocolate or strawberry, yam yams, pocky sticks, potato chips, ramen, coconut milk (i love coconut milk because i like to make peanut sauce, hoisin sauce( lol im always forgetting to use that for my peanut sauce) soy sauce, teriyaki, orange sauce, pickled ginger, wasabi (i like the kikoman brand best thing ever) and of course i like their sesame oil. I also use to get this sweet fruity passionfruit syrup and put some in my juice and i would get the salty lime and put it in my coke. A guy in an asian market told me the fruity syrup was good but since then i havent seen those on the shelves.

LA Touangelle Sesame oil is more expensive but WAY better flavor - good for cucumber & non-cooking stuff
