Thank you for educating on how a bumper is replaced. I have question. If a bumper is completely replaced and it pops out from the beginning is this something that can be adeily fix with a clip or will the bumper have to be redone?

John Jstarr Perrin it’s a common problem with these radios. The bottom left side of mine doesn’t work either the calibration is off but look up some videos on RUclips I was able to connect my phone with the help of the magnetic strip of a credit card

Hey that was helpful. But can you please tell me what are those two steel behind the headlights which goes along with bumper frame, please.
that S-clip that you took from the old bumper and put on the new one, the shroud goes behind the assembly, into the open slot that the s-clip provides, not in front. I hope they fix it when it gets painted, but knowing paint shops, they'll just pain over it because "they found it that way". The small clip is also not attached to anything other than the bumper. The fender liner must also be secured there. Woops.

My bumper isn't staying flush with the fender on the passenger side, I ordered a replacement bumper support but I can't seem to figure out how to get the old one off. Is it just two screws and pull it off? Thanks.

When removing a bumper, do you have to be cautious of the air bag censors? I was wanting to instal a LED light bar behind the grill and was just curious.
+831turbo i didnt see any air bag sensors, but honestly ive done quite a few bumpers and never gave a thought to any air bag sensors around me. I would say not to worry. Unless your gonna tap into any wiring for your light. then caution should be taken and a good wiring diagram should be looked at.

Not too bad if your decent with tools and wrenching. Toyota bumpers are pretty basic compares to other brands like chevy or ford. Parts of this video could be helpful too.

you are basically doing the exact same thing in this video. if you are not changing bumpers then you can remove fog lights from underneath. just unscrew the bottom plastic panel
