Thank you Gail for your great tutorials on Bernina sewing machines and especially your great camera work. Every thing becomes so clear seeing the correct way to do things with your particular machine. Love all your tutorials and we are all lucky to have this resource to go to.
That's helpful info.....however I do not know how to chance my feet!!! My Bernette 77 did not come with instructions and I can not find a video that actually physically shows how to change the feet. Please help!! thanks
Hi Gail, can I ask a question? I’ve never squeezed my clamp like that, but my foot has fallen off MANY times while sewing. Usually when free motions quilting……and it’s happened while using the BSR too. I’ve made it a habit to check the clamp when pausing my work but it still happens. I shared this with my Bernina tech but nothing has changed. Ant tips appreciated 😊
Well having not seen your machine, my guess is that the foot clamp needs to be adjusted so that 1/3 of the arm of the clamp is grabbing the foot knob. Perhaps on your machine it’s more like 1/4 instead.
It's so difficult to put on the walking foot. What is the correct way to do it easily. If I have the bar on the needle screw, I find it very difficult to find the hole that the foot slips into.
Easier said than done as the closest Bernina dealer is hours away from me. That is why I watch the videos. No tutorials on installing the walking foot. OK@@BERNINAofNaperville
