I would love to hear your thoughts about starting derby after 40, what are realistic expectations for those who are finally in a position to play this sport but art starting later in life.
My thought would be this: do what you feel is best for you. Whether you want to hit and be hit, or ref (which is a hugely important job) and skate, or learn to skate and then be an NSO. There are lots of people that play and start derby at that age!! Go for it!!
