Your charm offensive continues and Yuki's photographs reinforce it as well as being informative. More years ago than I care to think about I booked a flight to Osaka to visit a friend there working for Mitsubishi but I was very ill at the time and completely forgot about it. Now I must accept that I will never be able to visit. At that earlier time I was deeply involved in studying Japanese landcscape design and this had been a reason for visiting Osaka together with Kyoto. You are obviously very mobile!

Been to Osaka many times. However, last time I was in Umeda, I was overwhelmed by the concrete maze that seems to have expanded. Years ago on a flight to Osaka we talked with a young Caucasian girl, who lived there. She told us Osaka was mostly concrete with very few green spaces. However, friends of ours stayed in Umeda last year and enjoyed themselves. I retreated to Namba.
Really love this kind of vlog, the rain reminds me of movie titled garden of words. I hope for the next vlog you put a video of Lucua Mall rooftop, i miss that place so much it gives me such a good memories of my first Japan trip back in 2019

子供の頃に住んでいた梅田の街が雨の中で美しく輝いていました。今でも歩く街ですが、雨の日は鬱陶しいなあとしか思えない街が見方によってはこんなに魅力的になるのだと思いました。ビルの上にある小さな神社は子供の頃は遊んでいる時に時々行く、秘密の場所的なところでした。朝見ていて今日の活力が増えた感じがします。
