He's not a great singer, but a great guitarist and country entertainer. He also deserves great credit for keeping the golden years of country alive, and not giving in to the modern crap that dominates the industry today.
I have a job in a good country rock band, sing a couple tunes, people say I sound good on some things, play guitar mostly. I wish that I had the vocal skills this fine gentleman has.
