Sycamour is one of my favorite bands ever and I was not expecting the name drop lmao
I'm going to start doing a thing where I predict/say where I would put these albums then by the end of the episode i compare our answers cause I think that'd be fun
OF MICE AND MEN: this is the only one of the three I've heard, personally i think it's forgettable amongst the crabcore records of it's time, it does have second and sebring though so for that reason i'm predicting a pretty mid or a just okay. Don't think anything on this album is bad enough to warrant lower
STAND ATLANTIC: never heard this album or much from the band, I know you guys like them so shot in the dark That Bitch
THE HOME TEAM: haven't heard this one but I liked the most recent one, and I know you guys mentioned the first album was pretty easy to tell that it wasn't the kind of music the band wanted to make, so I think a very kind "Just Ok" or "Fucking Awful" would make sense but I've never heard this album so it could be the best pop punk ever who knows
EDIT FOR OF MICE AND MEN: huh, not sure I agree it's quintessential risecore. Saying that around Emarosa and Feel by SWS is crazy cause I think those both clear this one but a respectable ranking
EDIT FOR STAND ATLANTIC: I should listen to this album, although the way yall talk about it I thought it'd be higher than OM&M
EDIT FOR THE HOME TEAM: real. I like she's quiet though i didn't know it was off this album
love the indepth response
