Hi Simon great Video. I have just bought my own label printer and just Wondering how the best way to go about printing the label and writing the item and sku number on the back of each label?
I used to sell on ebay things I didn't want and made a bit of passive income to supplement my job. There are some questions maybe you have covered in other video but all the effort you have to factor in going to car boots sourcing, packing and pay a wage for the hours spent on doing this, is this something you have took into account in your calculations. Then because you earn 100.000 per year factor in what was spent on the goods, the ebay fees, your hourly rate etc It just seems an awful lot of work and do you see much profit. I suppose if it earns you more than your previous job then it is probably worth. Love to know your thoughts on my take on it but you are great and I love watching your videos very interesting.
Yup take the cost of goods, plus packaging and postage and ebay fees - then work out what profit you have made - then how much time did it take you, divided by the profit to determine your hourly rate.
@@djme-123 hi sorry meant to say the one I got was from Amazon about 3 yers ago, it is an Outdoor one so very robust, I would suggest measuring the space you have and getting a rug accordingly. I do know a lot of people use a great material that they staple to a board and use that. Sorry not that helpful. Good luck on tracking one down. Simon
Enjoyed watching the way of the wise. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much that means a lot, hope you have a great week Simon

@@thegentlemanmarketeer I’ve got a fleece and have tried both vertical flat lay and your flat lay. Prefer your set up, just need to get rug and lights
@@djme-123 just so you know the size of my rug is 160cm X120cm
@@thegentlemanmarketeer Thanks Simon always appreciate your great advice.
I think youtube wise I think unfortunately (for you) it might be a case of diversifying more into an everything seller to make things less repetitive!
@@S-I-M-O-N fair point, unfortunately very difficult when I’m a clothing seller. Might be time to slow down the content.
