Viewing this on a bitterly cold, snowy day. What a treat! The colors and textures and the promise that spring always does arrive whether seasonally or in our hearts. Thank you! Chere
We agree with you completely, Chere! It is a treat to enjoy the colors and textures of spring flowers and the promise they bring. Sometimes it is challenging to wait for spring's arrival, but it does show up eventually and it brings so much beauty and joy with it. Thank you for taking the time to watch our Saturday Showcase and we're always so pleased when you stop by. Hope to see you on Wednesday for Live and wishing you a warm and peaceful week at home!
Absolutely LOVE this design. Watching this on a very cold Saturday in Maryland. I found myself clapping when LeeAnne was finished. Thank you for this wonderful idea!
What a wonderful thing to say, Judith! We so happy to hear that you were clapping as Leanne finished the arrangement. It is a lovely depiction of a spring garden, and we're delighted that you enjoyed it so. This was a Saturday Showcase selection and a classic one at that. Spring will be with us soon and with it will come all of the beautiful flowers like tulips, irises, daffodils, and more. Thank you very much for visiting us and for watching the show. We hope you will stop by again soon and we wish you a very Happy New Year with flowers in abundance!

Are the bulbs salvageable after the arrangement is done with? Could one plant them in their own flower garden? If so, it will add to the recipient's joy for years to come. Nice bouquet Leanne. Blessings!
That's too bad...I wonder if there might be a way to do both; have the beauty in the arrangement and be able to plant them later...if you know of a way or discover a way, please do share it. I think it could add to the value and saleability. Blessings!
Thanks for your question, Brenda! Would you have access to something like curly willow? You can also use pieces from other flowering trees if you have them available. If not, then other woody material would work as well. We hope you enjoyed this show and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Tropical designs are truly beautiful, Alyssa! We love them too along with this beautiful spring botanical design as well. Thank you very much for spending some time with us to delight in spring flowers. We appreciate you being here and hope you will join us again soon. Wishing you a wonderful week and may it be filled with flowers too!
Try it, you will be surprised. I currently have a collection of blooming Amaryllis bulbs in my home, all without a water source. I purchased them during the first week of December. They have all bloomed once and are now beginning their second blooms. One trick to keep a water source for the bulb is to place half of the roots outside of the vase and half inside the vase and in water.
Awesome as ever Leanne . Your design is just perfect , the flowers you use here are also available in Normandy where I live . Could you give me your email address so that I can try and send you my latest creation .

Beautiful. Just wondering how do the Hyacinth drinks water with the roots outside?
The Hyacinth has no outside water source. The water and nutrition comes from the bulb. Check out some of the other comments on this design.
Are the bulbs salvageable after the arrangement is done with? Could one plant them in their own flower garden? If so, it will add to the recipient's joy for years to come. Nice bouquet Leanne. Blessings!
Thank you for your kind comments. Unfortunately, after being used in this manner the bulbs would be unsuitable for re-planting.
That's too bad...I wonder if there might be a way to do both; have the beauty in the arrangement and be able to plant them later...if you know of a way or discover a way, please do share it. I think it could add to the value and saleability. Blessings!
Beautiful. I have a doubt though. Since the roots are exposed and doesn't have any water source, won't the hyacinth wilt and dry out?
Yes the roots will dry. However, there is enough water in the bulb to allow the Hyacinth to grow and bloom.
Ummm, cannot find branches. Wonder what I can replace them with?
Thanks for your question, Brenda! Would you have access to something like curly willow? You can also use pieces from other flowering trees if you have them available. If not, then other woody material would work as well. We hope you enjoyed this show and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Hi if I am right you can replant the bulbs after you use them then the display? Thank you
After using the bulbs in this manner they will dry completely and will not be suitable for replanting.
Thank you

Really? The bulb are going to bloom without water? I don't believe it. Even if they bloom, I don't think they're going to bloom well.
