So nice to learn others have been completely captivated by Cyberpunk 2077! This was my first AAA game as I am on a Mac and have not had access to PC games - until I learned I could play CP2077 using CrossOver from Code Weavers (I play in native 4K, no upscaling required!). The game has blown me away and deeply affected my life. As you said, the writing is stellar, the characters are well-developed, the music is excellent, the 3D world is just unbelievable, the sunsets are to die for (as is the gold lipstick!), and the endings are jarring and heartbreaking. CDPR nailed the dystopian future with the realistic juxtaposition of technology, urban blight, capitalism, crime, and social dilemmas. Everything about it on so many levels is thought-provoking. After over 1000 hours, I am still not over the experience of the game. In many ways, it's better than my favorite movies because you are the protagonist and the experience goes on for months! I have never felt this affected by anything, ever!

I saw a little cartoon on netflix and though this sounds intresting ... then after balling my eyes out I found out it was a video game so I got that then the video game came with a free " ttrpg" book and its like my whole world opened up .... now what is crazy is I'm a D&D 5e DM, for since 2014 had no idea cyberpunk exisisted or antying about it
SO GLAD this is not about graphics. I follow a channel that talks about gaming hardware. He has made at least a couple videos complaining that graphics is ruining gaming.
