This video was even better than I was hoping for. Absolutely brilliant! I didn't like Carl that much but maybe thats a good thing though shows how well he was played. What you think of the new old school villain they're bringing in mate he's supposed to be a mate of Phil's from when he went to Prison in 2003 when Den Watts stitched him up and supposedly helped him escape. He's supposed to come back and start tempting Phil to go back to his old gangster like self. If Phil does which is most likely then this feud with Max will be even bigger than expected.

Great video, I really feel like Carl doesn't get the credit he deserves. Two discussions we've never had, characters Vs. the actor that plays them (who's tougher?) And for each hardman, who's the toughest hardman they would have a chance of beating in a fight and who's the weakest that could beat them?
Thanks mate, and yeah I agree, I think Carl would have gained more recognition and credit if he had done more on screen and not lost the majority of fights he was in, it's a shame he was wasted though. Interesting discussion ideas mate :) I'll be up for that would you like to discuss them here or in the PM's?
I dm either is fine with me :) I guess here so others can get involved if they so wish. Yh, they should have had him punch both Phil and Max at least once I think, but I thought he was quite intimidating at first and was quite believable

Yeah I agree, 2013 Max did well against him so the more vicious/nasty 2017 Max would have just beaten Carl up rather than just floored him probably.
ImProSolution Didn't do too well against him then they. Wasted yardman as I thought Carl had some good potential.
Max only floored Carl when Carl was injured, I reckon they are evenly matched.

Carl wasn't a hardman he was a bully who thought he could pick on people he thought were weak he learned the hard way what happens to a bully.
He tried to intimidate Phil & Max too. He was a psychopath who had balls

Carl didn’t really do anything apart from pinning up Ian and beating up Peter off-screen, I think Max could’ve take him easily. Joey probably would’ve beaten him too considering he was a lot more built than Carl.
