The Instant Robot Programming System (IRPS) eliminates the need for manual programming of welding robots. With IRPS, robots can perform welding tasks independently. The system uses a scanner mounted on the welding robot to automatically generate a CAD model and add welding parameters from a database. Unlike offline programs that rely on theoretical CAD models, IRPS generates its own model based on a scan of the real product, accurately reflecting its true composition, dimensions, and position.
This shortens production time, increases efficiency, and reduces the need for specialised programming knowledge, making it ideal for environments where flexibility and speed are essential. IRPS is especially suitable for welding steel beams, fences, steel grating, and micro panels.
