Tip #1 search a lot to gear up the mice, but only when you have one or maybe 2 minion on the board so to not add cheese to the wheel. And make sure to strategize with each mouse with it's abilities and gear each round.
Take advantage of Searching and Sharing. :) Make sure with Maginos that you favour his ability cards (you can get lots of cheese for him by rolling cheese when attacking, as one cheese roll = 2 cheese).
After playing the entire base game through as a cam-pane, I am looking foward to possably getting the Heart of Glorm. Even if it doesn't have many figures. And I will like to fight more than just those plain old rats and roaches.
I have everything for M&M including the downloadable content (Chapters). I am disappointed in the contents of this box. If you have an enemy, you should really have the Minions. I really looked forward to painting the rest of the figures. (Downwood Tales is quite the opposite! OMG!) There are some fantastic Minion figures in that set. (I will be buying quite a bit of extra content from Shapeways including a Cheese wheel and Cheese Golen as they are awesome) I can't wait for Tail Feathers. The minis in that are fantastic.
Just got the base game the other day and love it but it is kicking our butts. Will have to look into this once we complete the game. Anyone know of any strategy tips that could help?
Search a lot to gear up mice, however try and only search while you still have at least one minion on the board so to not run the cheese wheel time up.
Hmm..A little disappointed. The one thing I thought the base game needed was more enemies. Got a little tired of fighting roaches and rats over and over again.
That "Bark Fur" card made me smile, as it's a spin on the common "Stone Skin" and similar powers in other games.

I feel like it could have come with more.. minis, chapters or tile or two.

My daughter and I have played Heart of Glorm and you are right, Tom - it is hard. It is well worth the effort though!

Ya set up rat traps 😉
Spray with Raid😄😉🙂
@@SirMillz I agree. If there is a malay minion on your tile, you can just run away, (although it is harder with Nez) and search.
I always come here for board game reviews
Well, they are new mechanically, even though they are still rats and still using the rat miniatures.
So, new TYPES of Rats and Roaches at least.
Roll well and stick together
No slug minis? Challenge accepted.
