Thank you for this series! I haven't painted miniatures before but have this game and paints, so I want to try it out. I've watched them all to prepare and will watch again as I paint... very helpful!
This series has been very helpful, thanks! From a beginner's perspective, I'm finding this set and your videos to be very helpful for learning a lot of different techniques!
The end of this video... too good. I know how to paint minis, but I'll be watching anyway because.. well.. you're never too old to learn something new and it also gives you an extra view for your channel. Looking forward to the next video.
Awesome beginners video along with the mentioned video series for NPC Chris and Sorastro. My next painting project is Imperial Assault. My first minis painting experience was Flash Point Fire Rescue basic firefighters. My paint mug is a Sock Monkey face with a handle on each side representing ears. Good stuff.
Fantastic job! I love your videos, there're a pleasure to watch and you convinced me to go and buy all that stuff and start painting (just got home with an entire bag :-))). Thank you. Have you consider doing a video on how to paint Stuffed Fables? It's the designer's next game, the minis are amazing and in an entire different colour scheme. Since I bought both, I'm very interested in a tutorial for this, as well. Once again, thank you, Tiffany!
When you are working with heavier miniatures(not so much an issue with these models) I also recommend putting sand in the pill bottles so the chance of the models tipping is reduced.
Just got my first minis game (Descent 2e) and would love to try my hand at painting but it's been yeaaaars since I've held a paint brush. Great video, and great recommendations for other videos to check out too!
Hi! Maybe it is too late now (after 5 years ...), but a small modification should be done in the description for paint list. The Citadel equivalent of Reaper's "Leather brown" is not Skrag brown! The correct color is Cadian flesh tone! BTW, I like the series, a paint my M&M minis with the help of this guide :).
I just started playing this game, and I am looking forward to painting my figures, I used to paint pewter minis back in the day. I was wondering about the kind of paint used...is it acrylic or more like the kind used for styrene models?
It's acrylic paint that I use, as that's what most model paint companies sell for miniatures. I've had some people say they use just normal acrylic paint well.
Hello! Are there any warnings on which spray paints might "melt" the plastics? I have rust olium but I'm not sure if there are chemicals in it that could react poorly with the figures. I have used them on 40k figures but those are resin casts as far as i know. The M&M pieces seem more plastic. ALSO GREAT FREAKING VID OMG I love how down to earth it is. I've painted one roach so far and my nephew loves it! I used Valjao grey paint and brushed it on. It doesn't have the best coverage and i worry i might ruin the details but so far so good.
Great tutorial. I am using these vids when I finally get a copy of M&M

I love the video. Mice and Mystics was my very first game to paint. Always love watching you paint this game.

Luana Pop Stuffed Fables is on my painting table now, actually! I'm glad you're excited about painting now. Let me know if you have any questions!

Oh that's a GREAT idea! Thank you!!
TheOneTAR You're welcome, looking forward to the rest of the series.

Rustolium is fine. The 40K figures use similar methods as the MM figures, so you should be fine. I use Rustolium sometimes just fine.
@@TheOneTAR Thank you!
I noticed you did not wash the minis first with soap and water. Do you have any issues with primer or paint falling off?
my son heard duck tales reboot but we cant find anything on it. you have any info to share ? was in on a certain tv provider?
what paint colors do I need for the roaches?
That episode is out now! You can find the full color list in it's description.
