It depends on what you mean by best.
The NASB is the most accurate English word for word translation of the Bible.
The ESV is much more readable but sacrifices word for word accuracy to better translate the meaning of whole sentences.
The KJV has its historical importance and Old English style which some Chrstians enjoy even if it has flaws.

Read "The Message Translation", compare it to the KJV or even ESV, and tell me they have the same meaning. They don't. Not even close. Even read the NIV. Or the Passion Bible. They all skew God's true word because instead of translating it literally, they paraphrase it and in doing so change the meaning. Don't take my word for it, go look for yourself. There is everything wrong when doctrine is affected. No compromising God's word.

1 John 5:7 (KJV) For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
1 John 5: 7(ESV) "For there are three that testify:"

Even made Christ to seem to lie with their subtle changes:
John 7: 8 (ESV) : You go up to the feast. I am not going up to this feast, for my time has not yet fully come.” 9 After saying this, he remained in Galilee.
10 But after his brothers had gone up to the feast, then he also went up, not publicly but in private.
John 7:8-10 (KJV) Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.
When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee.
But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
One word "yet" but changes the whole narrative. Be vigilant my fellow brethren in Christ.

@@mattr.1887 I already told you what Jesus said. You aren't getting a sign besides the sign of Jonah who was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights- like Jesus was in the tomb and rose. We cannot see God and live. No man can. No man for example, can stand 20 feet from the sun and live. That would be impossible. I've seen you blaspheme God in many many posts. You're only hurting yourself. If you're really serious ( and I pray you are ) you'll open your heart and mind to God and He will show you exactly what you're looking for. Humble yourself like every Christian on earth has too. Other than that, you can continue doing what you do... Blessings to you.

Agree. Say if He were born after hundreds of years of prophecy to a virgin in a specific town that's was foretold, did miracles to prove Himself and then died and rose again. Then you'd believe Him. Oh wait...
